After scanning the newly activated missions, Ivan couldn't help but marvel at the system's ability to bullshit. The mission description made him want to hit someone.
Fortunately, the more missions he accepted, the more Ivan developed a habit of only analysing the difficulty and rewards of the missions.
As for the rest?
He might as well ignore it!
Compared to the previous mission, the reward for the task of tidying up Knockturn Alley was undoubtedly much richer, and the three points of legend made Ivan very envious.
If he could obtain it, he could undergo another bloodline fusion!
Yvonne didn't know much about the other reward, but she suspected it was something similar to the Dark Mark.
It wasn't clear if it would be useful, but Ivan thought it would be good to learn about it.
He might even be able to find a way to remove the magic mark!
After all, Doggett used to be a Death Eater and had left a Dark Mark on his wrist, which would become a ticking time bomb when Lord Voldemort did come back to life. It would be best to get rid of it as soon as possible.
However, Ivan was troubled about how to complete the task.
As evidenced by the mission objectives and instructions in the system column, the emphasis was on getting the wizards of Knockturn Alley to recognise his rule.
It was obvious that this was not an easy task!
There were perhaps three hundred wizards in the whole of Knockturn Alley, a small number of them living in the neighbourhood, and the rest living in the outskirts or in ruins.
The staffing was also very complicated, ranging from poor wizards who could not make it in the wizarding world to those who had committed crimes and sought refuge there.
Even the Ministry of Magic did not pay much attention to this place, which showed how difficult it was to manage.
The only solution Ivan could think of was to get people to knock on his door one by one, force him to submit, and then drive out all the troublemakers!
However, the impact of this was too great. Even if it was really implemented, these people would only submit on the surface. They might even secretly try to trip them up. Who knew if they would complete the mission…
As for the hint in the mission note, Ivan rarely complained about it. He knew exactly what he was capable of, so where did he get the supreme power?
Even with the augmentation of his runes, his magic was far inferior to Dumbledore's.
It was almost impossible to subdue everyone by force alone!
Therefore, after thinking for a long time, Ivan decided to take a gentle approach, such as setting up a law enforcement team to turn Knockturn Alley into a civilized area where the people were honest and the roads were clean!
In that case, most people would probably approve of their control over Knockturn Alley and expel all the troublemakers. In a few years, they should be able to achieve some results!
As long as it took, Ivan could think of nothing better.
Bang!
Yvonne was deep in thought when a loud noise filled the wide room.
Ivan turned and saw that one of the prisoners had woken up. The noise had come from the man's body hitting the corner of the table.
"Ah! I almost forgot about you!" Yvonne exclaimed, slapping her forehead in embarrassment as she approached the man.
"D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D
"Shut up!" Ivan's face darkened, and he silenced the man with a backhanded Forbidden Spell. "You look rested, so let's get on with it!"
The Dark Wizard shook his head violently, his mouth wide open but unable to speak.
When he saw the young wizard pointing his wand at him, his heart turned cold, and he even regretted agreeing to his request.
Being possessed repeatedly for a short period of time was like having a stick shoved into his brain and being stirred about. In contrast, he would rather have been hit with a Cruciatus Curse.
"Telekinesis!" Ivan waved his wand and entered her memory again.
The Dark Wizard's pupils dilated and his body tensed as he tried frantically to drive Ivan's magic from his brain.
Ivan, on the other hand, increased the intensity of his magic and showed no mercy. These condemned prisoners were scum who either carried the lives of several people or repeatedly committed heinous crimes.
For example, the Dark Wizard in front of him was a wizarding supremacist who hated Muggles and tortured them for his own pleasure, and had brutally murdered dozens of Muggles before he was wanted by the Ministry of Magic.
When looking at the memories, Ivan almost lost his temper, so he showed no mercy and used them as guinea pigs in his experiments, testing the limits of Legilimency.
Even combining knowledge of Memory Charms and Occlumency, trying to modify a wizard's memory…
After more than ten minutes of fiddling, Ivan was so exhausted that he stopped his magic. The Dark Wizard's body seemed to convulse, and it took him a while to lie still on the ground like a dead fish.
"Do you remember who you are?" Yvonne asked, trying to get the words out before she waved her wand to undo the charm.
The Dark Wizard was silent for a moment, as if he were trying to recall something. Then he said blankly, "I'm an undercover agent, sir, planted in the Wizard Market."
"No, that's not right…" A few moments later, the Kung Fu Dark Wizard's expression became more and more suspicious. He muttered to himself, then looked at the young wizard in horror and screamed.
"What have you done to me? You devil! You promised you would let me go!"
"No, I'm just saying I'll spare your life if you promise to practice magic with me, that's all!" Ivan explained, waving his hand dismissively.
He was a man of his word, and with the recent need to stop killing, even if the Dark Wizards were notorious for their misdeeds, Ivan would at most wipe their memories and send them off to do hard labour to atone for their crimes.
This was, of course, assuming that they survived the magical experiments they had been subjected to over the past few days without breaking down and killing themselves or becoming idiots.
"Never mind, I don't need to explain anything to you. You'll forget everything later anyway! I'll have to explain again tomorrow." Ivan shook his head in amusement.
The Dark Wizard suddenly realised something, and a chill ran down his spine as he realised that he could not remember what had happened in the past three days…
