"No, thanks. What do I need all these Firebolt arrows for? Just for show? I don't have room for them in my house!"
Ivan was speechless at Sirius's words, wondering if Black's ancestors would be furious if they found out!
Yvonne shook her head to herself, but quickly got down to business.
'By the way, Sirius, did you say that Peter's execution was scheduled for seven days from now? Why wait so long?'
'Because of Mrs Peter, of course!' Sirius sighed as he thought about what had happened in the courtroom.
"After your presentation, the presiding judge announced that Pettigrew was to be executed tonight, but Madam Peter was adamant that the trial should not be allowed to proceed.
The presiding judge and committee members considered the fact that the mother and son would have to part life and death soon after they met, so they delayed it by a week so that they could see each other more often…"
At this point, Sirius also sighed.
Although Peter had put him and James through a lot of trouble, there was no point in dwelling on past grudges now that he had been accidentally beaten into an amnesiac and was facing death.
The room fell silent, and Harry, remembering his mother's death at the hands of Lord Voldemort, felt some sympathy for the ill-natured Mrs Peter.
"I wonder if she can take the shock…" Hermione said wistfully.
Seeing the sudden heaviness in the air, Sirius quickly changed the subject to a trip to Hogsmeade to celebrate his escape, which reminded Harry and the others of their happy memories.
Dumbledore returned to the waiting room shortly after, Fawkes still perched on his shoulder, and after some rest the golden-red bird seemed to have been rejuvenated.
Now that Sirius had successfully overturned the case, there was no longer any need for them to stay, and they left the Ministry together.
As they climbed the lift back up to the London streets and listened to the distant honking of horns, Ivan felt as if a lifetime had passed.
Did the Muggles living in London have any idea that there was a group of wizards with special abilities underground in the city…
"Well, let's do it here. There's no one passing by, so hold my hand and I'll take you back!" Dumbledore said, glancing around to make sure no one was around.
Ivan and the others nodded and formed a circle, as they had come, except this time there was an extra person.
"Aren't you going home?" Dumbledore asked, surprised to see Sirius approaching.
"It would be nice to go to Hogwarts for a few days, as I told the children I'd take them to Hogsmeade," Sirius explained.
Dumbledore nodded and said nothing more.
Fawkes, on his shoulder, however, let out a disgruntled cry. Carrying six people at once, and teleporting across territory at that, was too much for Phoenix…
After all, the amount of magic power consumed to teleport a person doubled!
Dumbledore was troubled by this, and was about to suggest that they split up into two groups when Ivan suggested something.
"Professor, we can teleport to Hogsmeade and back to the castle!"
"Good idea! Since it's your day off, we might as well celebrate before heading back!" Sirius exclaimed, his eyes lighting up.
Harry and Ron agreed, as they did not want to go back to school so early.
Dumbledore did not want to spoil their fun, so he agreed.
"I'll see you at Honeydukes then, Harry and I!" Sirius laughed, grabbed Harry, and disappeared with a Transfiguration.
"Come along, Mr Weasley! We must hurry, lest there be any misunderstanding…" Dumbledore beckoned to Ron, worried that Sirius's sudden appearance in Hogsmeade would cause chaos.
"What about Ivan and Hermione?" said Ron.
"I think they'll find a way!" Dumbledore, knowing full well that Ivan could perform Transfiguration, simply took Ron with him, placing his right hand on Ron's shoulder and waving the Elder Wand with his left.
As he watched the two of them teleport away, Ivan had a vague feeling that something was off. If he remembered correctly, Professor Dumbledore should not be left-handed…
"Ivan! It's time to go!" Hermione called out when she saw Ivan looking lost in thought.
"Ah…good!" Ivan recovered, nodded, and took the witch's hand.
"Disillusionment!"
As the incantation was chanted, the surrounding space distorted like a vortex, sucking the two of them in and throwing them out the next moment.
By the time they found their footing, they were in Hogsmeade from the Muggle city of London.
It was already evening, and the rays of the setting sun shone down from the sky. A large number of young wizards and witches dressed in the academy's uniform were wandering around leisurely, and the noise and commotion were endless.
Ivan tried to sense the magic in his body. The inter-regional teleportation had only used up a quarter of his energy, less than he had estimated.
This was not only due to the increase in his magic after merging with Boggart's blood, but also because his Transfiguration Charm had been upgraded to level five, greatly reducing the amount of magic required to cast it.
Yvonne was lost in thought when she heard a piercing scream in the distance.
"He's Sirius!"
The sudden scream caught the attention of the young wizards, and Ivan turned his head.
Sirius was now standing casually in front of Honeydukes, holding several packets of sweets in his hand.
As it happened, there was a wanted poster stuck to the front of the shop, and Sirius's picture and a bounty of ten thousand Galleons stood out.
"Yes, it's me! Please pack up all the new sweets you have!"
Sirius admitted it graciously, but sighed in disappointment at the Honeydukes owner's fearful expression.
"You should read more of the latest Daily Prophet. It says so much about me! Today is the day of the re-trial of the Wizengamot, and because I'm innocent, they let me out. Understand?"
