Chapter 416 - I Carried a Soul Catcher for You!

With that in mind, Yvonne decided to think long and hard about it. At the very least, she needed a suitable solution!

While she was thinking, Ivan stepped into an abandoned classroom.

The classroom looked very spacious, but it was a little messy. There were dozens of tables and chairs scattered around, and the podium was covered in a thick layer of dust.

Before he came in, the classroom was already occupied… perhaps because he had been waiting for a long time, but Harry stayed at the window, waving his wand over and over again and chanting incantations.

Harry turned around in surprise when he heard the door open.

"Ivan, finally!"

"I'm sorry, something happened and I was delayed!" Ivan explained as he dragged the sack closed.

Harry didn't care, of course, but he was curious about the sack Ivan was holding, especially since it was moving as if it contained a restless creature.

"What's in this?" Harry asked curiously.

"Of course it's for you to practice your props for the Puffs!" Ivan patted the sack, and the Dementors inside quivered as if trying to get out.

"A prop? Is it a boggart?" Harry guessed, thinking about it.

Having attended Defence Against the Dark Arts, Harry was immediately reminded of the Boggart he had seen last time, which took the shape of one's worst fears.

As much as he hated to admit it, Harry knew that if he confronted Boggart, he would most likely end up in Dementor form.

This should be the best way to practice. After all, you can't really find a Dementor for combat practice, right?

Ivan shook his head and explained, "No! It wasn't a boggart. The one Professor Lupin used for his classes was dead, and I couldn't find any more boggles any time soon… so I went outside and caught a Dementor."

Was it really a Dementor?

Harry's mind went blank, and he looked at Ivan in astonishment.

"How dare you!"

Harry looked at Ivan in admiration. Many witches and wizards avoided Dementors, but Ivan caught one and carried it over his shoulder.

And if he remembered correctly, the Dementors were sent by the Ministry of Magic to capture Sirius Black. Was it really okay for Ivan to just kidnap them?

Harry suddenly remembered seeing a large number of Dementors flying down from the sky through the window and realised that Ivan was most likely responsible for their strange behaviour.

"Ivan, I just saw a lot of Dementors heading out of the castle. Were they looking for you?"

"Shhh, don't ever try to keep it a secret! It's got to do with the Ministry of Magic, and if they find out about it, I'll probably be in big trouble…" Ivan didn't say it explicitly. He put his index finger to his lips and made a gesture of silencing them.

Ivan's original plan was to kidnap a Dementor, but so much had happened that it would be disastrous if the Ministry caught him.

While it is common knowledge in the wizarding world that wizards are unable to transfigure into magical creatures using the Animagus, Umbridge may not have been able to recognise herself as the Dementor who caused the trouble, but holding Ministry of Magic employees in private is no small crime!

Harry was touched when he read Ivan's attitude.

Knowing full well that Ivan was taking such a risk to get him to practise the Patronus Charm, Harry quickly promised to keep it a secret.

Yvonne nodded. Harry was not a loudmouth like Ron, and he was usually reliable enough not to let anything slip.

The only thing to be wary of is Dumbledore using Dementor on Harry.

However, after more than two years of battle with Dumbledore, Ivan guessed that an orderly white wizard like Dumbledore would not abuse magic that could see through thoughts and read memories.

The last few times he used Dementor, it was either because he had done something that involved the Dark Lord, or because he found it hard to understand.

Furthermore, when Dumbledore used Dementor, it was mostly to confirm the authenticity of the words, and not to dig deep into the memory.

It is therefore unlikely that Dumbledore learned of today's events through Harry…

With that in mind, Ivan decided not to dwell on the possibility of exposure and snapped his fingers.

"Dobby!"

As Ivan's voice echoed through the classroom, a small, ugly house-elf appeared in front of them.

"Mr. Harls!" Dobby blinked his bulb-sized eyes at Ivan for a moment, then turned back to Harry and exclaimed.

"Oh … and the great Harry Potter!"

"Hi… Dobby!" Harry awkwardly greeted the house-elf who had screwed him over.

"Is there anything I can do for you, sir?" Dobby asked Ivan, not forgetting his duties after his brief moment of joy.

"I need to teach Harry a spell and I don't want to be disturbed. So please go down the corridor and let us know if anyone comes, understood?" Ivan explained.

Although it was an abandoned classroom, the chances of someone breaking in were small, but it was a precaution.

"Yes, sir! Dobby won't let anyone interrupt Mr. and Harry Potter's practice of magic," Dobby promised, patting his chest, and disappeared from the classroom with a snap of his fingers.

When Dobby was gone, Harry asked curiously, "Isn't Dobby Malfoy's house-elf? Why would he listen to you?"

"You remember last year when Dobby stole that Dark object? Because it ruined Malfoy's father's plans, he was punished…" Ivan briefly explained how he had manipulated Dobby into being freed.

"I bet old Malfoy was furious!" Harry gloated when he heard Ivan screw Lucius Malfoy over with a glove in his diary.

Even without seeing it with his own eyes, Harry could imagine Lucius Malfoy's frustration and frustration, and it made him feel better.

"Yeah! And then I hired Dobby!" Ivan laughed, then suddenly asked, "So, Harry? Happy?"

"Eh?" Harry looked at Ivan in confusion, not quite understanding what he was saying.

Ivan's face grew serious, and he said seriously, "I want you to remember this feeling. The secret of the Patronus Charm is to magically condense positive emotions into power!"
