Chapter 379 - Stop Pretending, I've Got It All Out! Actually, I…

The blond wizard, who was standing on the opposite side of Ivan, put on his flower hat and lace dress with a loud bang.

The students in the back burst out laughing.

Yvonne was taken aback. 'That's not right, is it? Why did it become like this? Do I subconsciously think I look funny in women's clothes?'

"Hilarious!" Ivan had no choice but to attack again, actively thinking about changing his appearance.

The cross-dressing version of the blonde wizard suddenly turned into a squat circus clown, dressed strangely in Rollerblades, and juggling a few balls in his hands.

"A very good demonstration! Ten points to Gryffindor!" Lupin clapped his hands in satisfaction, then asked, "Bogart seemed to have transformed into you? Can you tell me why?"

Lupin had seen Boggart's strange behaviour and knew that he was about to say something when Ivan interrupted him.

Perhaps feeling that this was an invasion of privacy, Lupin added deliberately, "Of course, it's fine if you don't want to talk about it. I just think that some people are afraid of being strange."

The wizards turned to look at Ivan.

"No, it's nothing you can't tell me!" Ivan said, then shrugged nonchalantly and cleared his throat.

"I'm sorry, but there's something I have to tell you!"

Ivan's serious expression piqued everyone's curiosity, but they listened with emotion.

"Actually, I'm not a genius. I just spend all of your time playing and studying, that's all. That's why I was so scared of you finding out!"

Harry and the others rolled their eyes. They didn't even know where to start!

Lupin shook his head helplessly. He recalled that when he first arrived, he had asked a few of the professors about Ivan's past because of their encounter on the train.

From them, they learned that, aside from being academically brilliant and motivated, Ivan was most impressed with the strange things he did and said, and it seemed to be true.

With that in mind, Lupin let the matter drop. He looked around the room and fixed his gaze on Neville, the worst performer after Boggart's outburst, beckoning him to step in and replace Ivan.

"Me?" Neville, hiding in the crowd, looked shocked, unable to believe that Lupin had pointed him out.

After double-checking, Neville approached Boggart, trembling.

The delay caused the spell on Boggart to weaken, so when Neville reached him, Boggart began to change again.

A few moments later, Professor Snape appeared in front of them, wearing a black robe and a scowl on his face. He glared at Neville with hawk-like eyes as he advanced towards him.

"Ah!" Neville's face went white with fear and he backed away.

"Quick! Spell!" Lupin warned.

"Snape" was already in front of Neville, his face almost touching Neville's. Neville screamed in fear and raised his trembling hand, his wand poking "Snape" in the face.

"Slippery—funny!"

With a loud crack, "Snape" flew backwards and landed flat on his face. When he finally managed to get to his feet, he was transformed.

The black robe she was wearing had been transformed into a long, frilly dress, with a tall hat, a moth-eaten vulture, and a large red handbag.

As though noting this, Boggart's alter ego, Snape, awkwardly covered his lace dress with his handbag.

The young wizards burst out laughing. They had never seen Snape looking so awkward in his dark clothes.

Neville's magic was such a vindictive act that the young wizards stared at him in admiration.

Neville, too, was smiling happily now that his fear had passed.

Yvonne shook her head to herself. Poor Neville is going to have a hard time with his next Potions class…

Yvonne was amused by the cross-dressing version of Snape. It was boring to watch her cross-dressing, but it was fun to watch others.

Lupin then had the young wizards confront Boggart one by one, casting spells to overcome their fear, and the poor Boggart was toyed with and tortured, finally exploding into smoke in laughter!

Of course, for some special reason, Lupin did not ask Harry to deal with the Boggart.

Therefore, even though Lupin gave Harry ten points for his random excuse towards the end of the lesson, Harry was still indignant!

At the end of the lesson, Lupin clapped his hands to attract everyone's attention and said:

"Well, that's enough for our first lesson! You've all done very well! This is far more than I expected. As for your homework, please read the chapter on Boggart in your textbook and summarise it in a few words… Monday!"

As he spoke, Lupin recalled his promise and continued.

"In addition, the best performer of the lesson was Mr. Hales! Not only did he cast the spell with the greatest ease, but he also helped the rest of the class overcome their fears… I shall honour my promise and give him an extra thirty points!"

At the same time, the system prompt sounded in Ivan's head.

[Ding! Defence Against the Dark Arts class concluded.

Evaluation: Satisfactory (Excellent)

Commentator: Lupin

Reward: 10 GPA

Bonus Points: 40 GPA]

Ivan was very satisfied with the class evaluation in the system column. He had earned fifty GPA points in one class, which was the most he had ever earned!

When the other young wizards heard Lupin say that the lesson was over, they were not satisfied. They thought it was the best Defence Against the Dark Arts lesson they had ever had, and it was both new and interesting.

So much so that, after leaving the classroom, they discussed the interesting things that had happened in class in twos and threes, and Seamus tried to tell everyone in the corridor how he had subdued Boggart's terrifying ghost…

Ivan, thinking back to Boggart's performance in class, suddenly realised that this magical creature seemed quite capable…
