After Ivan agreed, Doggett had no more worries. With the help of the werewolf wizards, they had enough manpower!
"There's no time to lose. Let's go now and use Apparition to get to the rubble in the east, where the werewolves should be," Doggett suggested, turning back to Hermione.
"Althea, you take this little girl. I'll take little Ivan!"
Alicia nodded and took Hermione's hand. The little witch seemed uncomfortable, but she let her.
When Doggett stepped forward, Ivan shook his head.
"No, thanks. I can Disapparate myself!"
Doggett and Alicia looked surprised. If they were not mistaken, Apparition was not taught at Hogwarts until the sixth year, and Ivan did not know the spell during the summer holidays of his first year.
"Are you sure? You're in danger of being split up if you fail to perform Apparition. Don't use it indiscriminately when you read about it in a book," Doggett cautioned.
Unlike other spells, Apparition was highly dangerous and required the caster to have adequate magic and mental fortitude, usually limited to students aged seventeen or older, and generally required to be watched in order to avoid irreversible consequences.
"Disillusionment!" said Ivan, and without further explanation, he waved his wand and was sucked into the vortex.
The next moment, Ivan appeared in the clearing nearby. The entire process was done in one go, extremely fast…
"I don't know how you manage to master so much advanced magic…" Douggart was stunned for a moment, then he shook his head with a bitter smile and muttered.
He remembered that when he was in his second or third year, he only knew basic spells such as the Levitation Charm, Transfiguration Charm, and Unlocking Charm, unlike Ivan, who could easily master advanced magic such as the Thunderbolt Explosion, the Summoning Charm, and the Apparition Charm.
Alicia was equally surprised, but Ivan's return had been enough of a shock, and a Disapparated was nothing to sneeze at.
Doggett had no choice but to give up on the idea, and the trio disappeared into the dilapidated house.
There was another familiar shifting of dimensions, and when Ivan returned to his senses, he was in the rubble outside the werewolf encampment.
Before Ivan could do anything, he saw Warren, Walker, and the others exiting the station eagerly, wands clutched in their hands.
"Fran! Where are you going?" Ivan asked as he hurried forward.
Flan and the others noticed Ivan's arrival, but before he could speak, Walker ran over and patted him on the shoulder.
"Hales, great, looks like you're okay!"
"I heard an explosion while I was out, and I went to check it out, only to find that your family's wizarding shop had been attacked. It was full of blood and bodies, and I couldn't find you after I ran in, so I came back to tell Fran and the others. We were just about to go out and look for you!" Walker went on and on.
When Walker finished speaking, Furlen asked him a question.
"Yes, what really happened to Hales? We almost thought something had happened to you when Walker told us."
Yvonne now understood why they all looked like they were out for a fight. They had been told about the attack on the wizarding shop.
However, Ivan was puzzled as to why Walker, who had been to the Wizarding Shop to investigate, did not bump into him.
Was it because she happened to miss him?
Even as her mind raced, Ivan's mouth did not stop moving as he explained what had happened.
"Half an hour ago, we were attacked by ten black-robed wizards, all of whom I have now destroyed, at the behest of the owner of Borgin and Burkes."
Ivan paused for a moment, then resumed with a murderous air. "So I'm going to go straight to Burke's house before he hears anything concrete, but I'm short of a few men and would like to ask for your help."
Ivan thought he would have to think about such a dangerous thing, but the werewolves were indignant and agreed without hesitation.
"Haha, I've been idle for months. I can relax my muscles…" Walker rubbed his hands together and said excitedly.
"Why don't you think about it? This is a very dangerous operation, fighting the owner of a Dark Arts shop, and perhaps dealing with other difficult Dark Wizards…" Ivan said, somewhat touched.
Ivan needed their help, but would not hide the danger from them, knowing that someone was going to die.
"Don't worry, we've thought this through and we know how dangerous it is," Flan said with a smile.
The fact that Ivan had developed the Wolfsbane Potion and was willing to sell it at such a low price touched Fran and the others. They had never seen a witch or wizard who would think of them, the despised werewolves.
Therefore, when Ivan was in trouble this time, they would naturally not stand idly by. Besides, although this battle was dangerous, it was not certain death. They were still confident in their own strength!
"Now that you mention it, I went back on my promise to keep an eye out for you in Knockturn Alley, and now this has happened!" Flan said, ashamed.
Many strange faces had appeared in Knockturn Alley in the past few months, and they were aware of this.
They had thought that the Dark Wizards who had infiltrated the city were just a bunch of nobodies who posed no real threat to them. They had not expected them to be banded together.
Yvonne didn't hold it against him; he was only doing her a favour. Werewolves were usually too busy trying to make ends meet.
However, seeing that Flun had spoken, Yvonne decided not to refuse. She turned to Dougett.
"Dean Dougett, is there a safe place to stay in Knockturn Alley?"
Ivan remembered that his past self would soon be fighting his way here to find Fran and the others, so he couldn't stay in this place for too long. It would be best if he could find a safer place to discuss the upcoming raid.
