Chapter 184 - You Want to Do It Hard…

Yvonne toured the girls' dormitories. At first, she was nervous about being seen through, but eventually she calmed down. No one could see through the disguise of the Polyjuice Potion.

Every once in a while, the mission announcement would ring in Ivan's head, but he frowned when he reached the end of the corridor.

This was because the increase in progress was too little, far less than what he had gained in the lounge and the boys' dormitory.

Did he really have to go into a dormitory to take a look?

Ivan gritted his teeth and knocked on the door of the nearest girls' dormitory, looking for an excuse to go in and walk around before returning.

After waiting nervously for a while, the door of the dormitory opened and a young witch with loose hair opened it. She looked at Ivan with surprise.

"Hermione? I thought you were going to the library to read. And why did you knock? Why didn't you just come in?"

"Lavender?" Ivan muttered to himself. He hadn't expected Hermione's room to be behind a random door he had chosen.

The main problem was that the effects of the Marauder's Map were greatly reduced upon entry to the lounge, as hundreds of names were located in this small area.

To avoid suspicion, Ivan never checked the Marauder's Map again.

Ivan, however, forced himself to calm down, and soon came up with an excuse.

"I just remembered I forgot something, so I came back," Ivan said, pointedly ignoring the knock.

"Oh, I see." Lavender didn't look suspicious and moved aside.

Yvonne forced herself to go inside. The decor of the girls' room was very different from the boys' room. It was very pink and girly, and several undergarments were strewn across the chair.

As it was Saturday, Parvati was not even up yet, lazing around in her pyjamas reading the latest issue of the magazine.

Yvonne glanced around casually, then her eyes were drawn to the large and small animated stickers on the walls.

Because the sticker shows countless Lockhart smiling at him…

Ivan could barely keep the smile off his face. He had known that most of the young witches at the school were fans of Lockhart, but he had never expected them to be crazy enough to post Lockhart's mugshots all over the dorm room.

Didn't he feel cold being stared at like this every day?

Ivan shook his head helplessly, unable to understand what they were thinking.

In an attempt to avoid suspicion, Ivan found the bed with Hermione's name on it and pretended to place the book there.

As he was about to do nothing, he caught sight of Hermione's pillow, next to some cut copies of the Daily Prophet, the first of which was a news report about Lockhart's new Defence Against the Dark Arts class.

She even circled Defence Against the Dark Arts in a pink heart shape on the timetable beside her.

A true fan of Lockhart's…

If he remembered correctly, Hermione had once slept with Lockhart's card under her pillow, Ivan thought ruefully.

"What are you looking at, Hermione?" asked Lavender, leaning forward curiously and placing her hand on his shoulder. Didn't she say she'd leave the book?

Yvonne was about to make up an excuse to get away with it when Lavender spotted the papers Hermione had left on the bedside table.

Ivan thought this was bad, but he couldn't stop Lavender, who grabbed it out of curiosity.

"What's this? Professor Lockhart's Events?" asked Lavender, looking excitedly at the stack of newspaper cuttings.

Yvonne was about to berate Lavinder for asking her to return the items when he spoke up.

"Well, I didn't know there were reports of Harls…"

Ivan was momentarily stunned. He glanced at the newspaper that Ravend was holding and saw that this was indeed the case.

Other than the news of Lockhart's book signing and his appointment as Professor of Defence Against the Dark Arts, the rest of the newspaper collection consisted of his own newspaper articles. Judging from the quantity, the collection should be quite complete…

"Where? Where? I want to see it, too!" Parvati's eyes lit up and she jumped out of bed, not caring if she was naked or not. She went to Lavender's side, grabbed a couple of the cut newspapers and started reading.

"That's enough! Bring them to me!" Ivan snapped, his face black with anger.

No matter what, it was Hermione's secret to keep it safe. It was her privacy, and Yvonne was beginning to regret her intrusion.

"No!" Lavender said with a grin, clutching the stack of cut newspapers to her chest. "Unless you tell us who is more important to you, Professor Lockhart or Harls?"

How can an idiot like Lockhart compare to me?

Ivan grumbled to himself, but didn't dare to say so, as he was in Hermione's form and it would be rude to talk about it.

"You sure you don't want to give it to her?" Ivan asked, sighing at the gossipy faces of the two young witches.

"Yes! No!" Parvati hurriedly raised the object in her hand high without any intention of returning it.

"Looks like you guys want to do this the hard way…" Ivan muttered to himself.

Yvonne instinctively tried to pull her wand out, but then she remembered that her wand was not the same style as Hermione's, and would most likely be seen through.

With this in mind, Ivan abandoned the idea of using magic and rolled up his sleeves, revealing his white arms…

"Hermione, what are you doing?" Lavender was vaguely frightened by Ivan's actions, but quickly calmed down when she saw Parvati.

There are two of us!

As Lavender was trying to cheer herself up, she saw "Hermione" coming at her with the clear goal of getting her hands on the newspaper…

"Hand it over!"

"No!"

"Parvati, come and help, Hermione's mad… pull her!"

"Let go and give me the paper, or you're both dead!"

"Boohoo… It hurts…"

The three of them fought a fierce battle in the small dormitory, and the scattered newspapers fell everywhere…

When Ivan couldn't get his hands on the newspaper, he cleverly grabbed their wands and, with a few random spells, managed to paralyze Lavender and Parvati and win the losing battle…

Hmph, how dare you!

Ivan arrogantly straightened his torn clothes, but when he saw the two young witches who were on the verge of tears, he hesitated and muttered to himself.

"Oh dear, what do we do now?"
