Chapter 170 - The Man Who Flies in the Sky Is the Great Savior, Harry Potter?

As the car drew closer, Hermione could see a look of terror on Ron's face, as well as Harry's. Apparently, driving a magical car was not an easy task for either of them…

Especially this self-driving car, which has its own ideas…

"Harry, Ron!" Hermione shouted at them, opening the window in shock.

Harry and Ron, who were sitting in the magic car, heard Hermione's voice and looked over.

But before they could say hello, the magical car with its own ideas whizzed back into the clouds, leaving Harry and Ron's terrified cries ringing in their ears.

"Ivan, we have to find a way to save them!" Hermione said worriedly, then frowned in thought and continued.

"Maybe we can get Harry and Ron to bring the car down to match the speed of the train, then try to get them over."

"It's too much of a risk. They can't control the car." Ivan shook his head, indicating that there was nothing he could do about the children's death-seeking behavior.

It was not a big deal to miss the train, as Harry and Ron only needed to go home or back to the Leaky Cauldron for help.

Even with Dobby causing trouble and making it difficult to send a letter, there was always a way to contact Dumbledore. There was no need to fly over in a car.

It's a total death wish…

Yvonne thought so, and then realised that she was setting them a little too high a standard,

Harry and Ron were now little more than twelve years old, and could do anything in a moment of panic.

Not to mention, they were quite mischievous…

Suddenly Ivan felt the diary in his hand shake violently.

Yvonne looked at it strangely. The diary's black ink was ragged, telling of its owner's turbulent emotions.

[That kid in the car, the one you called the Great Savior, Harry Potter?]

Ivan looked at the ink on the diary and could clearly feel Tom's inner turmoil. After laughing to himself, Ivan wrote in the diary with a straight face.

[The appearance of the One is always so shocking, isn't it, Tom?]

Tom fell silent, wondering how his primary soul could have been defeated by such a retarded child…

This shouldn't be happening?

Hermione kept glancing out of the window, apparently too worried to notice Ivan's antics.

Unfortunately, the car had flown above the clouds and could no longer be seen.

The train pulled in slowly.

As soon as the car came to a halt, Hermione was anxious to alert the professors, fearing that something had gone wrong with the car Harry and Ron were driving.

However, when they arrived, Hermione was shocked to find that the second year students did not have to cross the lake, but rather followed the older students to the castle by carriage.

In the crowd, Hagrid had boarded a boat to cross the lake, accompanied by the dim lights of the lamps.

Hermione thought it unlikely that she would chase them into the lake to tell Hagrid that Harry and Ron were getting into a flying car to drive to school.

Unable to seek Hagrid's help, Hermione had no choice but to follow the group to the platform, Ivan included.

Yvonne looked over her shoulder, occasionally keeping an eye on the boat Hagrid was in, worried that it might not be able to handle Hagrid's weight and sink halfway into the lake.

The two of them were pushed out of the station by the crowd and across the street. Soon, they saw hundreds of black and grey carriages parked on the street outside. The only difference was that these carriages did not have horses to drag them.

"Can this carriage really move? How do we get it to move?" Hermione asked as she sat in one of the carriages, curiously touching the sides of the carriage. The railings were cold, but the carriage beneath her was motionless, causing her to panic.

"It'll move when it's full…" Ivan replied, but he was looking at the front of the carriage with a strange expression.

This was because Ivan realised that he could not see thestrals, even though he had died once and killed Quirrell.

Now that he thought about it, however, Ivan seemed to recall that Harry of old was like him.

Even though Harry witnessed his parents' deaths at birth and destroyed the Chino in his first year, he could not see it until after Cedric's death.

Apparently, Thestrals are not easy to come by… Perhaps death requires a deeper understanding…

Hearing Ivan's words, Hermione had to put aside her worries about Harry and Ron and wait for the carriage to fill up.

However, Ivan's voice from the front of the carriage piqued Hermione's curiosity.

Therefore, the little witch asked.

"Ivan, what are you looking at? Is there something there?"

"Thestrals…" Yvonne, deep in thought, replied instinctively, then resumed when she saw Hermione's surprise.

"I heard it from my seniors. They said that the school carriages were pulled by a creature called thestrals."

Hermione stared in the direction Ivan indicated but saw nothing.

Just as Hermione was about to ask a question, someone spoke first.

"You say there's something pulling the carriage? But I heard that the carriages here can't move on their own. And what is thestrals?"

Yvonne turned her head to the side and saw two young Gryffindor girls, both in their second year. One of the girls was dark and did not look European.

"Parvati? Lavender?" Hermione exclaimed.

Yvonne was shocked when she heard the names, then remembered they were Hermione's roommates.

"Hermione, can we come up? I don't know anyone in the carriage nearby…" began Lavender Brown.

Parvati Patil added, "We're not interrupting anything, are we?"

With that, they both burst out laughing, their laughter ringing in the air like silver bells…

"What are you two talking about?" Hermione shot them an angry look, then glanced worriedly at Ivan.

When Yvonne's expression didn't change, and she simply nodded, Hermione was relieved, but suddenly she felt lost…
