Ivan stepped aside, frowning. His magic was limited, and he had no intention of continuing the fight.
The black-robed Enforcer, on the other hand, was overjoyed. He suddenly remembered that it was this kid in front of him who had been with Dagget at the Wizard Market.
They had sent five men to capture Doggett, but none of them had been able to catch him. If he went back alone now, he would most likely be severely punished, but if they could catch this brat, things would be different.
With that in mind, the black-robed Enforcer waved his wand as fast as he could.
Unfortunately, he was faster than the magical blast!
As the seventeen magical runes on Ivan's bracelet lit up with magic, the black-robed wizard was knocked off his feet by the force of Ivan's attack.
"What's the point?" Ivan asked, frustrated. He had received a system warning that the Ring of Magic would be destroyed if it was used again.
Fortunately, the Ring of Magic contained some magical energy, which could be activated to cast a spell, otherwise Ivan would have a headache.
The black-robed wizard was stunned by the sudden attack and quickly realised that the young wizard in front of him had a powerful magical item.
However, no matter how powerful a magical item was, it still depended on who was using it. The black-robed wizard rolled over and grabbed the wand that had fallen nearby. Then, he turned around and pointed the wand at the young wizard. The process was smooth and natural. It was obvious that he had practiced hard…
"Dizzy…"
"Stupefy!"
Ivan lowered his wand as the black-robed wizard fell to the ground with a look of disbelief on his face.
What the hell? He's not blind to make such an obvious move in front of him…
Although there was not much magic left in his body, he could still squeeze it out.
Ivan sighed. "What's going on? What am I doing here today?" He took a few steps forward and confiscated the wand. Then, he dragged the black-robed wizard by one foot in disgust and headed towards Dougett.
By the time Ivan arrived at the scene, Doggett had finished cleaning up the mess. The four black-robed enforcers had been thrown into a pile of rocks, and their injuries appeared to have been treated by Doggett.
"He ran into you? What bad luck…" Doggett looked at the black-robed wizard Ivan was dragging on the ground and felt sorry for him.
I was unlucky to have met you!
Ivan grumbled to himself, then dragged the black-robed wizard to a pile of rocks, where he stayed with the other four.
After the fight and the capture of the remaining members of the team, Doggett felt much better. However, he was still in disbelief when he saw Ivan.
"If word got out that the two of us got rid of the Enforcement Squad today, you'd be famous," Douggart said.
"All they'll know is that you scared off one of them after taking out four of them… and the best I can do is use a magical object to defeat one." Ivan rolled his eyes. It wasn't good for a young wizard to be so famous in his second year.
Not to mention, taking care of the enforcers also meant getting into trouble, which was why he only used the Unicorn's Shadow to assist Doggett in battle.
Unfortunately, he ran into the one who escaped…
Ivan was so nonchalant that Doggett was surprised,
He thought that after defeating several adult wizards, Ivan would be so pleased with himself that he would look to him for praise.
"What do we do next? Can you handle it? The Wizarding Market won't come after us again, will they?" Ivan asked the five black-robed wizards, looking worried.
"It was supposed to be a big problem, but now…" Doggett grinned, glancing disdainfully at the five enforcers behind him.
"I think it would be nice to talk to the other side…"
"Are you sure?" Yvonne asked dubiously. The fact that they were able to set up a wizarding market in Knockturn Alley showed how powerful they were.
"You can always talk about Knockturn Alley after a fight! If you can win, you can talk about anything…" Douggart said confidently.
"Then who founded the Wizarding Market? You'll have to tell me that!" Ivan's faith in Doggett had long since worn thin.
What happened to being able to deal with the law enforcement team alone?
In the end, he was still beaten to a pulp…
Doggett looked embarrassed, and Ivan's distrust was written all over his face, so he tried to explain.
"It was founded by several pure-blood families, and they paid for the so-called Law Enforcement Squad, which consisted of seven enforcers. Five of them were taken prisoner, so negotiations were bound to happen."
"These proud pure-bloods fancy a poor place like Knockturn Alley?" Ivan asked sarcastically.
It was not the Dark Wizards who made up the majority of the population in Knockturn Alley, but the ordinary, poor wizards and witches, which was why he thought Knockturn Alley and the Cave of Peasants were similar.
It is hard to imagine pure-blood wizards paying attention to such places.
"No one has a problem with Galleons… Besides, the pure-bloods don't have to show up in person. They can just find an agent." Dougett was also disdainful of the so-called pure-bloods.
"All right, I'll deal with this."
With that, Doggett pressed Ivan's shoulder and used Disapparated…
Ivan didn't resist, and in an instant he found himself in an alley, not far from his Dark Arts shop.
Doggart took a dozen Galleons from his pocket and pressed them into Ivan's hand.
"Remember, don't tell your mother about what happened just now. Just tell her that you were practicing to be a pager at my house… and that you bought some things… that's all."
Before Ivan could voice his doubts, Dougart disappeared in a flash, apparently having used Apparition again.
"I didn't promise—" Yvonne began gloomily, tossing the Galleon around.
Doggie the Mad… sure enough, you only get the wrong name, not the wrong nickname.
Ivan felt better when he saw the Galleon in his hand, the Ring of Magic around his wrist, and the bottle of Thestrals blood.
Other than an inexplicable fight, the reward was good.
With that in mind, Ivan tidied his clothes and headed for his Dark Arts shop.
