Chapter 81 - I Know Many Tricks

"Foolish!" Lord Voldemort laughed at Ivan's comment, admitting that it was impressive that the young wizard in front of him was capable of such a feat, but trying to make up for the difference in strength with just that?

'Are you kidding?'

Ivan ignored Voldemort's taunts and tried to steer his unicorn towards him.

As the white light soared through the air, Cecilia moved as fast as a bolt of white lightning!

"Ten Thousand Hits!" Voldemort raised his wand high, and hundreds of rocks rose into the air. As the wand fell, these rocks of different sizes tore through the air and crashed down.

The same ten thousand bullets were fired at once, but in Voldemort's hands, they were several times more powerful than Ivan's!

And this was under the condition that Voldemort was so weak that he barely had any strength left…

The indiscriminate range of attacks forced Ivan to once again hide behind the fallen pillar and concentrate on controlling the Unicorn's Shadow.

It was as if this white illusory figure did not exist. These sharp rocks of different sizes pierced through the unicorn's body, causing transparent smoke to rise…

Seeing that his charm was useless, Voldemort waved his wand and set up a dozen magical barriers around him.

However, these makeshift defences were of no use whatsoever.

In the next moment, the illusory white light passed through the layers of magical barriers and arrived in front of Voldemort.

Although the sharp rock and the magical barrier foretold that the unicorn in front of him was just a fake illusion, Voldemort did not dare to relax. Thick black mist had already enveloped his body, and the tip of his wand burned fiercely!

However, the fire that could burn everything did not work this time. Half of the unicorn's body passed through, and the black fog did create some resistance, but it was clearly too late…

A pair of hooves slammed heavily into Voldemort's body, causing his chest to cave in visibly. Voldemort's body was instantly sent flying by the force of the impact, crashing into a distant pillar.

The strange fire attached itself to the unicorn the moment it appeared, and its body, which was made of magic, dispersed into wisps of white light. Then, it gathered and returned to its original appearance, as if the Fire Curse had no effect on it.

However, Ivan felt as if most of the magic in his body had been sucked out of him. He felt dizzy and almost fell to his knees.

And lost the best opportunity to pursue…

When he recovered, he looked to where Voldemort had fallen. The grotesque figure was standing.

The black robe that was draped over Voldemort's body was torn and tattered, and the top of his head had been pulled back, revealing a head full of skin that was wrinkled and hairless.

More importantly, plumes of black mist were seeping through his exposed skin, causing his sternum to cave in, but he showed no signs of death.

He was so tough that Ivan was left speechless.

"You deserve to die!" Voldemort had lost his mind after being tortured by a mere first-year wizard. He raised his hand and cast the Avada Kedavra that he was best at!

A brilliant green light went straight through the white light and shadow in front of him until Ivan himself was gone,

Unfortunately, this particular spell was the easiest for Ivan to deal with, as he only needed to get back behind cover.

To prevent Lord Voldemort from attacking indiscriminately with a large-scale charm, Ivan manipulated the Unicorn's Shadow into attacking again.

It was the same routine. The unicorn transformed into a beam of light, and all of Voldemort's magic was useless against it. Only the mysterious black mist could stop it.

Sensing this, Voldemort also began to fight with his life on the line. The black fog that was originally used to defend his body surged out, vaguely forming a long and narrow snake shadow. Under the entanglement, the white shadow could not approach for a while.

Seeing that Voldemort was about to deal with him, Ivan knew that the situation was not good. He took out two round objects from his robes and threw them forward.

"Split!" Voldemort did not have the courage to let the creature get close. He cast a Splinter Curse and blasted the two round objects apart.

However, to Voldemort's surprise, the two objects exploded with a thick, yellow liquid in them, which then rained down on him, some on his head and clothes.

Voldemort was worried that the liquid might be a poison that could corrode the human body, but he soon discovered that he did not feel any discomfort.

It was just that the smell was shockingly bad… like… feces?

Lord Voldemort's mind went blank. He had never been in such a situation in a battle, and he was immediately filled with the fury of humiliation!

"Do you only know these disgusting little tricks?" Lord Voldemort raged, and the serpent that was restraining the Unicorn's Shadow almost disintegrated.

"I have a lot of tricks up my sleeve. Why don't you try this one?" Ivan noticed this and decided to try harder. He tapped his wand and a purple light shot out, hitting Voldemort, who could not move without the protection of the black mist.

"Fear descends!"

At the height of his rage, Voldemort instantly experienced fear, for he found that his body, which was barely supported by his magic, could no longer withstand the pressure, and his palms began to shrivel and age, his skin and bones cracking and collapsing…

"What magic is this?" asked Voldemort, horrified to find his immortal soul beginning to wane…

Impossible! How could his soul die just like that?

Voldemort soon realised that there was something wrong with his condition, and when he realised it, the fear curse had been lifted, and his body returned to its withered state…

Ivan was not at all surprised that Voldemort was able to break free of the Fear Charm so easily. In fact, if not for the fact that the Dark Lord's power was at an all-time low, and that the scene he was creating happened to be one that Voldemort would hate to see die, it would not have worked at all.

However, the two or three seconds of delay were enough. The Unicorn's Shadow had broken through the black fog and pierced its heart with a spiral horn. The tip of the horn came out of its back with scarlet blood, pushing Voldemort towards the burning wall.
