Chapter 63 - Would You Believe Me If I Said Nothing Happened in the Forbidden Forest?

After warning her, Professor McGonagall told Ivan that the Transfiguration Charm would naturally break through as he grew older.

Prior to this, he was able to use his magic to sense the differences in the structure of different objects, and generally, the more a wizard understood what had to be transfigured, the easier it would be to cast the spell, and the less magic would be consumed.

"Wingadim Leviosa ~"

With that, McGonagall waved her wand and used a Levitation Charm to move Hagrid into the stretcher, then used her magic to lift the stretcher and Hagrid into the air, moving with her and Ivan.

Along the way, Ivan took the opportunity to ask Professor McGonagall about the things to take note of when casting a Transfiguration Spell, as well as how to speed it up.

Professor McGonagall didn't try to hide anything from Ivan. She maintained the Levitation Charm while explaining to him.

When the two of them emerged from the Forbidden Forest, Ivan felt that he had learned many new tricks, but the level of the Transfiguration Charm remained the same. He wondered if drinking the Bloodline Fusion Potion would help him break through this bottleneck.

Harry, Hermione, and Ron were waiting anxiously at the hut next to the Forbidden Forest. When they saw Ivan and Professor McGonagall coming out together, they hurried over to them.

She was particularly worried when she saw Hagrid lying on a stretcher.

"Hagrid, are you all right?" Harry only had time to say hello to Professor McGonagall before moving closer to Hagrid.

"I'm all right… it's just that Cecilia, she…" After a while, Hagrid seemed to have recovered a bit, although he was often overcome with grief at the memory.

Harry and the others were confused, so Ivan had to explain.

"Cecilia was a unicorn who was hit with the Avada Kedavra to save Hagrid."

"Avada Kedavra? That's an Unforgivable Charm. Who would use it?" Hermione exclaimed.

Harry had no idea, and Ron had only heard of the Imperius Curse and knew little about the Avada Kedavra Curse, so Hermione explained it to them.

"I read in a book that it was a powerful Killing Charm, capable of instantly taking the life of an opponent.

It is listed as one of the Three Unforgivable Curses by the Ministry of Magic, and all users who find it will be captured and sent to Azkaban!

"Oh, I mean other than Harry, he's the only one who survived the Avada Kedavra, and was released by You-Know-Who himself," Hermione added sheepishly, suddenly realising that there was someone there who had survived the spell.

Harry touched the stinging scar on his forehead, wondering if he had ever been hit with such a dangerous Unforgivable Curse, when all people said was that he had defeated You-Know-Who and saved the wizarding community.

"Hagrid's attackers don't care, and don't expect dangerous Dark Wizards to play by the Ministry's rules…" Yvonne said, thinking Hermione was being naive.

"Well, children, let's talk later. We have more important things to do now! For example, hide this dragon from others, or send Hagrid to the hospital wing…" Professor McGonagall had to interrupt their conversation.

"Norbert could hide in Hagrid's room and just put him to sleep with a Stunning Spell," suggested Ivan.

Professor McGonagall thought about it and decided it would work, so she asked Ivan to bring Norbert to the house, then used the Stunning Spell on him.

"Stupefy!"

Professor McGonagall moved so quickly that Norbert was knocked out cold before he could react.

Due to the dragon's resistance to magic, Professor McGonagall had to use the Stunning Spell several times to prolong Norbert's unconsciousness. She also used the Transfiguration Charm as a safety measure to bind Norbert's limbs, wings, and mouth, so that he would not be in trouble even when he woke up.

Ivan looked at Norbert, who was tied up like a dumpling, and thought about how Professor McGonagall had tried to "handle" Norbert with the Vanishing Spell. He immediately listed Professor McGonagall as someone he could not afford to offend.

After trapping Norbert in the hut, the group quickly returned to Hogwarts Castle. Professor McGonagall asked Ivan and the others to gather in the Great Hall while she brought Hagrid, who was lying on a stretcher, to Madam Pomfrey.

When Ivan stepped into the Great Hall, he found that the long tables of the four Houses were already full, just as they had been at the beginning of the school year.

However, the atmosphere was even more tense. The young wizards were whispering to each other, and no matter how much the prefects who were maintaining order scolded them, it was useless. Ivan could vaguely hear the words "dragon".

The arrival of Ivan's party attracted the attention of everyone present.

The third-year students who witnessed Hermione, Harry, and Ron dragging Professor McGonagall away were particularly eager to question them.

As soon as Ivan found a seat, George and Fred eagerly crowded in.

"Ivan, what happened in the Forbidden Forest? Someone saw a dragon breathe fire into the forest, and we heard a dragon roar in the classroom. Is that true?" George asked excitedly.

The young wizards around him turned their attention to Ivan, expecting him to reveal something to satisfy their gossip.

Ivan, however, shook his head apologetically.

"I don't know. The professors will talk about it later."

Ivan really didn't know what to say, because Dumbledore or Professor McGonagall were bound to have an official speech, and what if it didn't fit? Wouldn't that be a slap in the face?

George and Fred looked at each other but didn't ask any more questions, knowing that Yvonne would never hide anything from them if she could.

However, the others did not think so. They only felt that Ivan and Harry must have known what was going on and deliberately kept it from them.

"There's nothing going on there, no dragons, nothing!" Hermione shouted, annoyed by the questions.

Harry and Ron were equally frustrated by the question, and felt terrible about not being able to say what they knew.

However, even Ron didn't say a word this time, as Ivan had told them to shut up if they didn't want Hagrid in Azkaban!
