Chapter 559 - His Might Is Simply Unimaginable!

Abbott sneered at Rosier's words. "That's a nasty look on your face! Come to help us? Come to help us go to hell?"

"Rozier, you dirty traitor!" Forlì cried, his eyes red with rage. If his hands and feet weren't bound, he would have torn old Rozier apart.

"I was really blind back then. To think we trusted you so much…" Parkinson also said fiercely.

The small storage room was soon filled with curses, which only got worse. Rosier simply smiled and did not react, as if he was not the one being scolded.

It wasn't until the crowd grew tired of cursing and gradually quieted down that the old Rosier finally managed to wipe the expression off of his face, replaced it with a look of misery and sighed.

"Sigh… you've really misunderstood me! We've been friends for decades, and I really want to help you!"

"In order to save your lives, I went to great lengths to beg Sir Harls to spare your lives. I didn't expect you to view me in such a manner!" Old Rosier shook his head.

Abbott and the others had been locked up for three days, but no one had come to see them. They had little hope that they would survive, and now they were excited to hear from old Rosier.

It was just that the one who came to inform them was old Rosier, who was seen as a traitor, and this did not please Abbott and the others.

They were especially uncomfortable with the fact that the other party was here as their saviour.

If this bastard hadn't tipped them off, they wouldn't have been arrested. Now, this culprit was begging for their lives and wanted them to be grateful?

What a joke!

Abbott and the others, worried that their lives were in the other's hands, sneered at Rosier, but Fiona Parkinson couldn't stand it.

"Don't pretend, Rosier! If you cared about friendship, you wouldn't have betrayed us. You're just trying to please your young master!"

"I didn't think you betrayed us to join a thirteen-year-old kid. Are you playing house with him?" Foley sneered.

The old Rosier's expression changed, and his face fell. He looked at the two of them and said coldly, "Fiona, Foley… I advise you to think before you speak! The consequences of insulting Lord Harls are not something you can bear…"

"Insult? Rosier, you're such a good dog, defending your new master so quickly… He's just a brat, so what if I insulted him…" Foley said viciously.

Before he could finish, however, the elder Rossier drew his wand and pointed it at Foley, casting a spell without hesitation.

"Crucio! (Crucio)"

"Ah, ah, ah!"

The bone-deep pain cut off Foley's speech, and he fell to the ground in agony, rolling and screaming.

"Rozier, what are you doing? Stop! Do you want to kill Forlì?" Fiona, Abbott, and the others did not expect the old Rozier to be so ruthless.

The elder Rosier ignored them and kept the spell going for thirty seconds, stopping when Foley was about to pass out from the pain.

"I'm very sorry, gentlemen, but my friend here has offended you by speaking out of turn, and I have punished him…"

"We will report exactly what happened here!" the werewolf wizard said coldly.

Rosier shrugged. He could only hope Ivan didn't hold it against him, or Foley would be in for it.

When he looked at Abbott and the others again, the old Rossier's pleasant expression was gone and he spoke disdainfully.

"You don't seem to have figured out who you are yet. The only reason I didn't kill you was because of Sir Harls' kindness! I advise you not to think too highly of yourselves…"

After being tortured by the Cruciatus Curse, Forlì fell to the ground, curled up, unable to recover for a long time. The pure-blood wizards did not reply, afraid that they would follow in his footsteps.

More importantly, they were not stupid. From the way old Rosier interceded with the guards on Forlì's behalf, using the Cruciatus Curse might not be a punishment but a cover-up…

The thought sent a chill through Abbott and the others.

"Rozier, that young wizard… I mean, what kind of person is His Excellency Harls? If you want to persuade us to surrender, you have to let us know, right?" Fiona Parkinson suddenly asked.

"How shall I put this?" Rosier Senior said with a frown, then hesitated and sighed. "Unfathomable… unfathomable!"

"Can't see through him?" asked Abbott, looking at Rosier in surprise. It was hard to imagine him making such an assessment of a young wizard.

"Yes… I can't see through it," Rosier Senior confirmed. "But I'll tell you what I know, and you can judge for yourselves."

"It was only five days ago, after we lost contact with the wizards we had sent to capture Walker, that Doggett came to me and tried to convince me to surrender to them… and that's when I realised that Alicia was a decoy and that our real enemy was someone else!"

The elder Rosier slowly explained the details of his first meeting with Ivan, including how he had tested Ivan's strength.

Rosier Senior knew that he had to make these people understand what they were up against before they would let go of their arrogance as pure-bloods and accept reality.

Therefore, in the process of narrating the experience, he even "slightly" exaggerated the scene a little, so that these people would know that they were not afraid of death, but rather, they admired the other party's great power!

When he heard old Rosier talking about Ivan's Shadowless Blade, which had cut everything in his field of vision in half, including a dozen trees, an abandoned house, and hundreds of Galleons, Abbott couldn't help but ask.

"Is that spell really as powerful as you claim?"

This was too much!

Fiona Parkinson and the others were also dubious.

Rosier Senior nodded ruefully, confirming this.

"That's right! I saw Sir Harls cut an old abandoned house in half. It was the most powerful magic I've ever seen!"
