Chapter 1011 - Everyone Is Waiting for Your Next Instructions

In addition to Transfiguration, the most advanced of the three, Ivan's magical reserves had also improved considerably.

In the decades that Dumbledore taught at Hogwarts, he read most of the books in the library, and was, without a doubt, once the most knowledgeable man in the wizarding world, albeit with limited knowledge of the Dark Arts.

However, Grindelwald was able to make up for this in his memory—a vast array of forbidden spells, an ungodly resurrection ritual, and an array of strange curse magic were all that Ivan needed to see.

Of course, even though he had acquired many spells and had some magical insights, three days was not enough time for him to master them all.

Now limited to knowing how to use it, it would take a long period of practice to digest this knowledge.

With that in mind, Ivan gently waved his wand to restore the owl on the table, then opened the system column to check his gains.

After scanning the system panel, Ivan exhaled slowly. In just three days, his proficiency in various spells had improved significantly. He had either broken through to Level Eight or was on the verge of a breakthrough.

This pleased Ivan greatly, as he had always been at a disadvantage when it came to fighting over Basic Charms, as his magical heritage was severely lacking compared to Dumbledore and Grindelwald, who had lived for over a hundred years.

In a fight, one could usually only use Transfiguration and Bloodline Magic to hold the fort, or use the large amount of magic stored in the stone to cast an Exploding Spell.

In addition to this knowledge of magic, the corresponding magical scale was increased significantly, although this was not related to the memories left behind by Dumbledore, as it was done in the first six months after the merging of the two bloodlines.

As he grew older, Ivan could feel his magic growing faster and faster, and in less than a year he had grown as much as an adult wizard.

All in all, his recent accomplishments not only made up for his shortcomings, but also improved him considerably.

Despite this increase in strength, Ivan did not become arrogant. After all, the threat posed by Grindelwald, who had also acquired all of Dumbledore's magical knowledge and possessed two Deathly Hallows, was not to be underestimated.

The last time he defeated Grindelwald with relative ease, luck played a larger role.

The Aurors of the Magical Congress of North America used the protective magic of the Houses of Parliament to weaken Grindelwald, and he tampered with the key in advance.

The key is that powerful wizards like them are nearly impossible to kill unless you find a venue that can restrict Apparition.

Or, as with Voldemort's death, his Horcrux was destroyed in battle, causing him to be unable to escape.

While Ivan was deep in thought, the fireplace in the Headmaster's office burst into flames, sending orange flames high into the air and attracting his attention.

Moments later, a familiar figure emerged from the flames.

"What brings you here in such a hurry, Minister Pierce?" Ivan asked, sweeping the glass bottles of Memory Threads off the table with a wave of his hand.

In the face of Ivan's questioning, Pierce quickly explained.

"Madam President, the new division you asked the International Confederation of Wizards to create has been completed, and the personnel dispatched by all countries have arrived. Everyone is awaiting your next instructions."

In fact, Ivan was supposed to be on duty a week ago, but he was so busy researching Deathly Hallows that he forgot about it.

Due to his authority, no one dared to rush him and could only wait. However, the wait lasted an entire week. In the end, Connor and the others had no choice but to ask Pierce for help to get the new Acting Head back.

Hearing Pierce's words, Ivan slapped his head and remembered that he was now the Acting President of the International Confederation of Wizards and could no longer stay in one place and study magic as leisurely as before.

"I'm heading there now…"

Having seen all the memories, Ivan was in no hurry to master them. After saying goodbye to the portraits of the Headmaster, he left with Pierce for the headquarters of the International Confederation of Wizards.

Along the way, Ivan asked him about the wizarding world, and Pierce told him everything he knew.

Perhaps due to the severity of their injuries, Grindelwald and his fellow Saints did not make much of a splash during the month following the International Confederation of Wizards.

At the same time, the League was able to put together a coalition of six hundred and fifty-seven wizards, all of whom, according to Pierce, were among the Auror's finest and had considerable anti-dark magic skills.

British and North American wizards accounted for one-third of the total.

There was no need to mention the former. Britain was Ivan's base, and the Regulators were 100% at Ivan's command. A large number of trusted men were needed to manage the new department.

As for the North American Magical Congress, it was the most powerful force in the wizarding world, excluding the top combatants. In addition, Connor wanted to please him, so he sent more than a hundred elite Hitters.

If this force could be brought together, the International Confederation of Wizards would no longer be an empty shell without any rights.

However, when Ivan stepped into this new department, his eager mood immediately turned cold.

Thanks to the notice, all but the Aurors who were on duty had arrived.

However, these elite Aurors from all over the world were not as eager as Ivan had expected them to be. Instead, they looked very loose and did not even have a uniform. Some of them even chatted in the solemn hall in their native dialect…
