Chapter 2
Ashley had already began her nerve-racking penniless day.
She was so hungry that it was visible.
Her slender curvy body had become thin and her blue eyes had dimmed.
She pressed the button indicating that the next person had to be quick.
"One Americano and a caramel." The next person placed his order.
She nodded, getting the money and shoving it into the money box that came out as she pressed another button.
"Next."
"Didn't think you'd back down so quickly Cara Mia, how fearful have you become."
She didn't need a soothsayer to tell her who it was.
There was no way he'd be there, right in front of her. Right?
She looked up at him and bit her lips, as his handsome face came to view.
She grabbed the mug tightly glaring at him.
He had made her life a fucking hell and she hated him for it.
She never got to have a mundane high school life and it was all because of him.
"You're not excited to see me." He said, sighing as he turned to the others behind him.
"Scram."
That was all it took, to get the others running out of the coffee shop.
"You don't own the world." She glared at him and he nodded, pushing the seat to sit behind the counter opposite her.
"I do." He smiled.
"Why are you here?" She asked, turning to the see the two women he had brought that had taken a seat on one of the tables.
"You're still feisty, it doesn't fit you Ash." He said, his eyes boring hers.
She hated the way he called her name, hated the abbreviation he gave it that sounded pleasant. Ash.
"You're with something that belongs to me."
"I'll drop it at your office tomorrow." She kept a blank face, her eyes darting to the women.
They looked like nothing but whore...that was what they were actually.
"Does my presence here bother you?" He asked, and she scoffed.
"You can spend the night here for all I care Mikhail, can you just stop bothering me really. I told you about the contract. I don't want it. Thanks." She moved away from the counter and took a seat.
"I called the hospital and your mother is quite unwell." He said.
That piqued her interest and she turned to him, curious and angered at the same time.
"Seems like she'll be thrown out of the hospital if her bill is not foot by the end of the week." He shrugged.
"How wicked can nurses and doctors be." He shook his head.
Ashley was not stupid.
She was not a newbie in the game. This was the kind of time, she hated being poor.
She would surely get a piston and surely the man In frong of her would be the very first person she would use it on.
"What did you do Mikhail?"
Others would be afriad of him, but she knew better.
He was scary but she refuse to be scared by him.
He had done all sort of things to her and she had stood her ground.
This wasn't the time to back down and cower that would want him to taunt her the more.
"Sign the files and bring it to my desk Ash, this is going to be the last time." He smirked, turning around and leaving the shop.
The women stood up and followed him.
She bit her lips, dialing Sandra's phone number.
"Hello."
"They gave us the weekend to take mother away." The person at the other side of the call said.
She closed her eyes, tears running down her eyes.
This wasn't Good.
The hated she had for him brewed.
"I'm sorry Ashley, it is not in my hands." He muimbled.
She clenched her fist.
"Mikhail Mazza had a hand in this right?" She asked, chuckling as she did.
He sighed, rounding the counter and taking and taking the mug she held on her other hand.
"He wants you Ashley, many girls would be running to him already." The man said, dropping the mug.
"I'm not many girls, I'm myself." She said, rounding the counter and leaving the shop after tossing her apron on the table.
She had gotten enough of the shit!
She knew where to find him. She would end the shit she had gotten her self into.
He wasn't the cause, she was.
After Highschool, she had made sure all ties with him was cut off and now he was back to torment her life like he'd always did.
She stepped down of the taxi and walked in to the club.
They guards gave her a look and glared at her.
"I'm here to see Mikhail." She said, glaring right back at the guard.
"Everyone is said to call him with respect, I'd watch your tongue if I were you." The guard snarled but she paid no attention to him.
She raised her eyes and found him leaning on the third floor rails, as he whispered to some lady's who giggled like ducks.
"Mikhail!!" She yelled, but was pushed back by one of the guards.
"Don't fucking touch me, I want to talk to Mikhail, right this instant and there is nothing you can do to fucking stop me!" She glared at the man who looked huge.
He was a man and many more.
"Go home princess, such a place is not meant for a princess as your self." He said and she shook her head.
"I'm not leaving without talking to Mikhail, go tell that asshole to come meet me here."
"Whack!"
The slap had come with force, causing her to stagger back and losing her footing.
She fell on the floor, her eyes red with anger.
"Are you done?" She asked, standing up.
"Don't test my Patience lady." The man said, and she huffed.
"Tell Mikhail, that I won't leave till he speaks with me."
There was no way she'd let him control her life.
This wasn't High school and they were grown adults not children.
She raised her eyes up, and just that moment he turned laughing as he looked around and his eyes met hers.
She blinked, trying to keep herself steady but tears came rushing out!
