Sabrina only stayed at the castle for a few days before she decided to return home. Mauve offered to see her to the door, but there was no way Jael would let her do that all by herself, so he was right beside her as she stood in front of the doors, ready to send Sabrina off.
"Thank you for your hospitality," Sabrina said with a curtsy.
"Don't mention it," Mauve replied with glee. "It was our pleasure." Jael simply grunted; not once had he said actual words to Sabrina.
"Take care of yourself, my lady, and if perhaps you might require my help, do not hesitate to send for me," Sabrina offered.
Jael's expression immediately darkened at this and worried that he might say something mean to Sabrina again, Mauve quickly cut in. "I will, and I wish you a safe trip home."
