Mauve was shocked to see Louis at her door just before the first meal. "What are you doing here?" She asked as Mill led him into her room. "Where is Jael?" She tried to see if Jael was behind Louis as he walked him.
"I don't know," Louis said with a shrug, "But knowing him, he should be here any minute from now."
She frowned and stood from where she sat by the dresser. She started to approach Louis with concern on her face. "Is something wrong?" She asked.
"No, nothing at all. I just wanted to inform you that I'd like a word after the first meal."
"You didn't have to come here to say that," Mauve heard Jael's voice seep through the still partly opened door.
"Sire," Mill said and bowed.
"Jael," Louis turned and beamed at him.
"Why are you here?" Jael asked darkly, ignoring Mill's greeting.
"I just said it."
"Jael," she grinned and skipped to where Jael stood. "Hi," she said as she got into his personal space.
