"Feeling better?" She could hear the smirk in his voice.
She pulled back and smacked his shoulder. "What does that even mean?" She cried and glared at him.
"Well, you seemed cranky earlier."
Mauve gasped, "I wasn't cranky," she exclaimed. She looked mortified
"I didn't say you were, I said you seemed." He was looking closely at her, his eyes moving around and he studied her face.
"Same difference," she pouted and folded her arms. She raised her head slightly, scoffing into his face.
"Can you stand?" He asked.
She nodded, "I think so."
"Don't fall," he said and carefully dropped her on the ground.
Mauve staggered a little and had to use him as support but she immediately got her balance. He carefully let her go as she leaned against the door.Β
