Jael adjusted in his seat. Why was the fact that Mauve had thought of using his mother's name such a turn-on? He clenched his fist as he tried to calm down in hopes that the blood would flow somewhere else. He wanted nothing more than to indulge, but he knew he had to keep himself in check; he didn't want to take any chances.
"I am glad you like it," Mauve said, pulling him out of his lustful thoughts.
"Yes, I do. Very much so."
Mauve was worried Jael might find it disrespectful, so it was quite relieving to discover that he didn't and that he truly seemed happy about the idea. She grinned at him. "It's a great name, isn't it?"
"It is. Wonderful choice. I knew you'd pick a good name."
"Thank you," she grinned and kissed his cheek.
"What if the child is a boy? What names have you thought of?" Jael asked. Mauve's eyes widened, and she turned away from him. "What?" Jael frowned.
