Mauve returned her attention to the book as Mill left the room. She rushed through the current chapter, age wanted to end the current scene before leaving.
She closed the book and stood up from the desk. She walked to the shelf to return the book but hesitated as she wanted to place it on the shelf. She paused to think before grabbing the book closer to herself. She walked out of the library with the book in hand.
She walked into her room and was about to get into bed when she heard a soft knock on the door. She retraced her steps and opened the door. Mill was behind the door with a tray. She moved out of the way and held the door open for her.
Mill walked into the room and placed the tray on the table, "Is there anything else you'd like?" She asked.
Mauve shook her head, "Except for my bath, that should be all for today."
"Would you like me to help you with that?" Mill offered.
"Yes, please." Mauve said without hesitation.
