Mauve didn't know when she fell asleep, and when she woke up, Jael was nowhere to be found, and Mill was in the corner of her room watching her. "My lady," she called, walking forward. "Are you okay?"
Mauve slowly nodded and sat upright. Mill was quick to support her. "How long was I asleep?"
"Not too long," Mill replied, standing to her full height.
Mauve grabbed her head; it was hurting a little. She was almost certain it had to do with all the crying she did before she fell asleep. This caused her to remember the reason she had been crying in the first place, and Mauve almost burst into tears again.
"I heard what happened," Mill suddenly said, her head bending low. "I am really sorry and sad that Vae has to go through something like that."
"I know," Mauve mumbled. She sniffled as she tried not to cry again. "I still can't believe her mother is dead. That is so sad."
