Mauve took a deep breath as they walked into the library. The familiar smell of books was the first thing she picked up.
"Whooo," she cried happily, stretching out her arms. "I haven't been here in a very long time."
"Strange," Louis whispered behind her, shutting the doors of the library closed. The rush of air and the loud sound of the door closing were prominent.
Someone had already taken the time to light up the candles in the library. She wondered if Jael had given the order knowing she was going to come here after she was done with the garden.
"I guess but I was cooped up in the study for a while and then I fell ill."
She did a little spin, taking in the space as much as she could. She walked the pathway between the shelves, walking closer to the middle.
"Technically, you're still ill," Louis said.
"I beg to differ," she replied and walked to the desk.
