"I like it like this," she replied, pulling her arms to her chest. "It will keep my fingers warm.
"As you wish, My Love."
Mauve eyes enlarged and her smile got even wider. "I really like it when you call me that," she blushed.
"Really? But you complain all the time."
"It's a bit embarrassing when you do it in front of Mill but otherwise," she pushed herself forward and fell against him. He caught and she moved closer. "It makes me feel really good."
"Well, you can be rest assured that I will call you nothing else."
She pulled away so fast that she wobbled a little. He held her steady and gently placed her back against the headboard.
"You should take the soup before it gets too cold."
"Okay," she replied and he handed the bowl to her.
Mauve accepted it with her mittens and brought it to her lips. The aroma was the first thing she noticed.
"Try not to spill," he said, watching her closely.
