Mauve threw herself fully clothed on Jael's bed. The incident in the dining hall made her forget just how tired she was but as soon as she walked into his room, her body remembered and before she could even think about it, she was racing to the bed.
"That tired?" He asked as she landed with a loud thud.
She nodded as she placed her head on the pillow. Her legs were sticking out of the bed, she still had shoes on. It didn't matter, she was too tired to think logically.
She was fully dressed and she knew she didn't have any energy to take off her clothes by herself. She couldn't remember the last time she felt this tired before bed on her own. Usually, Jael had something to do with it.
"Want me to help you out of your dress?" His voice sounded closer.
"Yes, please," she said, her voice sounding muffled because she was lying on her front with her face on the pillow.
"Can you even breathe?" He asked as he sat next to her on the bed.
