"For goodness sake, you couldn't pretend you weren't bored during the meeting," Louis scolded as Jael sat behind his desk.
"What are you talking about?" Jael said, feigning ignorance. His hair was tied away from his face but a few strands were becoming loose.
"Whatever," Louis said as he took a seat.
Kieran sat beside him and on the opposite side was Erick. Damon and Danag stood a few feet away from them.
Danag stood on the left side while Damon stood on the right. They both had their hands clasped behind them as they stood.
"The meeting is over, you all didn't need to follow me here," Jael said as he pretended to get to work. "Except there is something else you'd like to discuss."
Jael winced as he stared at the pile of letters on his desk. He knew he wouldn't reply to one-tenth of them.
"The party isn't a bad idea," Louis started to say.
