"Now, why would you do that?"
"Because her father doesn't care about her."
"Does she know you know this?" Louis asked with a strained expression.
"No," he replied and ran his hands through his hair, which messed with the tied part, and some of it came undone.
"But somehow, she was still supposed to go with what you want simply because you dictate it. Do you even care about her?"
"Of course I do. Why would you even ask that?"
"As a person, not an extension of you."
"Of course, I get her what she wants."
"Yeah, when it works with you. What about when you absolutely hate the idea?"
"Yes, I made the garden on the roof, and she picked her father, who wouldn't have cared if she died over me."
"Yeah, because you made her. No one would want such horrible options. Why didn't you want her to leave?"
