Mill didn't say much as she helped Mauve get ready. Mauve looked like she had a lot on her mind as she stared blankly at nothing in particular.
Mill couldn't blame her, the conversation they had earlier was a bit nerve-racking. She didn't think she would go as far as to tell Mauve about her parents, it wasn't something she spoke about.
However, she had looked so pitiful at that point and she wanted to help in any way she could. She knew something wasn't right with Mauve. One might as well say she had been abandoned here.
"Ow!" Mauve suddenly yelled out in the quiet room.
"I just lifted it," Mill scolded.
"I know but when you lift it like that it hurts," Mauve whines.
"I'll just apply the balm then. Hopefully, it will feel less painful after some time has passed."
"Okay," Mauve mumbled and nodded.
"Ah," Mauve screamed again as the substance touched her hand.
Mill pulled away immediately, "What is it?"
