Grandma stood in the lounge, along side Mother with their long faces. One thing I couldn't understand was why Avery and Lucy were sitted in the lounge with their heads faced down. "Mother that's the truth and there's nothing anyone can do about it, not even father!" Avery said this time.
*Slap*
Grandma slapped her staring at her with range in her eyes. I've never seen Grandma this upset before, which had me wondering what Avery her favorite grandchild has done this time.
"You stupid child, we did everything for you and this is how you'd repay us? What were you thinking, that I'd accept this?" Asked grandma.
"You're a disgrace to this family. If Mr Balowe can call this morning to tell how frightened his daughters were when they found out you were gay. That man practically mocked us" mother said gloomily.
"Get a divorce, I don't care if you're married but you'd be dead if I see you around my child!" Mother warned Lucy this time.
