On the day she got her powers, it was already two days after her birthday. She had spent time with Medusa and made sure she was asleep before leaving to go find Pandora.
She had been overfilled with the pressure of what her powers were and when she would get them. Since the others had a bad history about how their powers emerged, she'd been in fear.
She didn't want to hurt anyone.
"Good night, Medusa. I hope you don't get a nightmare tonight." She kissed Medusa's cheeks as she drifted off to sleep after much cooing and pacifying.
She stretched her limbs, feeling tired all over. Taming Medusa's troubles had become a chore these days. She also needed to be pampered. She left the room silently, taking care not to wake Medusa up.
She met a few of the newbies out in the corridor as usual despite the late hour. One thing she liked was that the smokers kept their smoking out of the corridor but outside the building.
