"Get away from me!" I screamed at Draco, my voice going higher than the splattering of the rain that had reduced its downpour now.
I was no longer under Draco's shield hence, I was getting soaked again but it was a relief that it was a mere drizzle.
It seemed all my yells did was tingle the damn demon as it kept coming at me, soaking my face with its fluids. I heard Annoying Jerk's chuckle behind me and that changed my perspective entirely.
"He thinks you're playing with him." Annoying Jerk said amidst laughs, clearly enjoying the show.
I was perplexed truly but seeing Annoying Jerk laugh so much did something to me. I'd only just seen him so weak and lifeless some moments ago and that broke me beyond words. Now, seeing him laugh so much, I didn't want it to stop.
