"But why were you so friendly with that girl?" Mia asked me for the umpteenth time.
Each time, I ignore them and acted as though I hadn't heard her. But I can't feign ignorance anymore. She wanted to rat my ears out with the question.
"Mia, what's your problem? Are you perhaps jealous or do you have a problem with the girl?" I spewed in exasperation.
Mackenzie and senior Eira were silent. Each person was in their bed and I was certain they were not going to get involved in the brewing argument.
The noises from the girls outside were getting into the room and we could hear inaudible chattering from outside. " Hey, watch it!" Mia hollered " What is so promising about you being so nice with a stranger the same way you were with the ghost senior who led us to getting punished"
Just how many more times would Mia bring that up?
"Just leave me alone, I'm too tired to go through another ranting episode with you" I said calmly unlike my usual self and lay in the bed I shared with her.
