His countenance turned amused and at the same time, unsure.
"You want to take me to see your mum?" He asked.
Oh, he was getting it wrongly. "No, no, I don't mean that. I meant I need to go see her. I have this feeling that she's in trouble. I have to go save her and my sister. They need my help." I began to rush, knowing every moment wasted here would do not many good than put mama in more danger.
I felt kind of embarrassed by the look on his face when he asked if I wanted to take him to my mama though. What was he thinking?
"Why do you think she's in trouble? Have you forgotten the school's rule?" he queried.
I wanted to barge away and go help myself if he was going to be this slow but I knew I needed a helping hand. It was hard to trust anyone in this school but him, I trust with my every breath.
