In a desolate and barren land, not far from the seventh city, two ferocious beasts could be seen entangled in a bloody battle, the earth seemed to shake after a single clash between the both of them, it was evident that both beasts where powerful,
The first beast looked a little terrifying, with pitch black fur that swayed without wind, it's fingernail's where even more disturbing as they where long enough to touch the ground, it long arms and nails seemed to be taller than it's whole body,
It resembled an ape, but was much bigger, about the size of a small car; the sound of wind tearing could be heard anytime the wind blew against those long claws, a testament to their sharpness,
The ape like creature had a deep and defined wound on its chest, scarlet red blood could be seen flowing out endlessly, but the terrifying aspect about this was that that devastating wound was already showing signs of healing,
In front of the ape like creature was an equally terrifying beast, claws that shone with a menacing light under the moonlight, it let out a small growl revealing row's of long sharp teeth as gooey drool flowed down its mouth,
An equally nasty wound was inflicted on its abdomen as it bleed rapidly, as if feeling the pain caused by the wound on its abdomen the tiger like creature let out an agonizing roar of pain,
with a leap it attacked the apelike creature, as it let out an earth shattering roar, a sight like this would have scared the wits out of any normal human, but the apelike creature was not a person, it was an equally terrifying beast, the wound on its chest was already starting to heal, a testament to its strong vitality and healing ability.
Looking at the tiger like creature who was still midair a glint flashed in its calm eye's as it swung it's long arm's "whoosh," the sound of wind tearing could be heard as it's bone like claws tore through the wind, "Slice," with the sound of flesh tearing another devastating wound was inflicted on its side, staining it's lush gray fur with a ting of red,
By now the wound inflicted the apelike creature's chest had already fully healed, but the tiger like creature's condition was getting worse, looking at the injured tiger the apelike creature let out a human like smile, exposing row's of sharp teeth,
It looked hideous and terrifying, seeing this the tiger like creature felt it's hairs stand at their end's, it's instinct's screaming for it to run away, and that's what it did, it decisively ran away without hesitation, it's movement's where a little sluggish due to the injuries inflicted on it,
But it was still extremely fast, covering over a hundred meters in a short period of time, looking back it saw that the apelike creature was still standing there, a look of glee flashed passed its eyes,
Within a few short moment's it had lost the apelike creature, escaping death, seeing a tree in the distance the tiger like creature slowly came to a stop to catch its breath,
Its wound's where devastating and it would affect its hunting, it needed to find weaker prey to hunt, or it would die,
Slowly it laid on the ground to rest and recover some of its lost vitality, but it soon stood up again as it walked to another location under the tree, feeling the moonlight on its fur the tiger like creature got comfortable as it prepared to sleep, but it felt it again, something was blocking the moonlight from reaching its fur,
Feeling annoyed the tiger like creature slowly opened its eye's only to be met with the face of the apelike creature, it still had that human like smile on its face,
Before it could even react, the terrifying claws of the apelike creature, had already arrived before it, "slash," the wind howled, followed by the sound of flesh tearing,
The tiger had its head sliced, as blood and brain matter gushed out, it was a terrifying sight, the tiger's body trembled but it could not make a move, it was partly dead, but it's body was still trembling as if fighting to stand up and run,
Seeing the trembling body in front of it the claws in the fingers of the apelike creature retracted as they slowly became shorter,
Slowly it pinched a piece of flesh from the trembling body in front of it as it brought it to its mouth and in one smooth motion it ate that piece of flesh as the smile on its face widened,
It brought it's hand forward for another pinch, but a disgusted voice interrupted it, "disgusting, why do we have to hunt a beast like that," raising its head upward 3 figures could be seen standing at the top of a tree, the first one was also the one who spoke, she was a girl in her teens,
She spoke in a bratty tone that reveled a hint of impatience and immaturity, her tone was a polar opposite to her body, she had all the asset's a young woman was supposed to have, the beast turned its attention towards the two men behind her, they seemed much more composed and experienced than the latter,
These four beings stared at each other for sometime as silence prevailed, feeling the silence between the two groups the impatient looking girls remarked in an impatient tone, "are we fighting this thing or not?"
Hearing this the two men standing beside her broke out in cold sweat as they remarked hurriedly, "young miss this is a smiling bone clawed ape, it can easily contend with an ordinary E level cultivator," without pause the other man continued,, "yes young miss we thought the grey furred tiger would exhaust it but it seems that we were wrong,
Not bothering to listen to any of their pleas the bratty girl jumped down the tree rushing towards the smiling bone clawed ape as she prepared to attack.
With a whoosh she waved a huge broadsword which appeared from thin air, the broadsword was as big as her but she didn't seem to have a problem waving it around, her attack was aiming for the ape's neck hoping to finish it in one fail swoop,
But the smiling bone clawed ape was an experienced hunter, as with a single wave of its arms it sent both the bratty sounding girl and her huge broadsword flying,
"Tang!" the sound of metal colliding sounded out as sparks flew the moment the broadsword came in contact with those long claws.
"Ouch!" a short cry of pain sounded out, seeing the defenseless girl in front of it a human like smile appeared on the face of the apelike creature,
Slowly it walked towards the girl in front of it, seeing the smile on the beast's face the bratty girl felt a chill run down her spine as she slowly moved backwards,
At the same time a bottle appeared in her hands out of nowhere as she prepared to drink the contents inside, "help," she called out looking towards the tree but her eyes widened as the two men who accompanied her where nowhere to be found,
Seeing the desperate and panicked expression on the face of its prey the smile on the apes face widened once more as it kept on getting closer, but it suddenly felt a sense of danger,
Looking up to the tree the two men who were previously standing there had disappeared from their previous location,
Without thinking twice it attempted to retreat, but it was already too late, a bunch of crystal ball like objects had already been tossed in its direction,
"Boom!"
A resounding explosion sounded out, as dust filled the atmosphere, "Cough! Cough!" the bratty girl coughed as the dust seemed to have rattled her up a little,
After a few minutes, the dust cleared up exposing the secrets it hid, a mangled carcass could be seen laying lifelessly on the floor, the sound of laughter followed as the two men who previously stood by the side of the bratty girl said in glee,
"Hahaha we did it," with smiling eyes one of the men went up to the bratty girl as he gave a her a hand, "young miss you need to be careful next time," saying this he turned back towards the other guy who was already starting to butcher the dead beast harvesting it's claws and some other useful parts of it.

The bratty girl who accompanied them was quick to regain her composure as she watched them, she would yawn from time to time, and obviously that was a sign of boredom,
The two men didn't seem bothered by this though, they were excited as they muttered to themselves, "where rich,"
Suddenly everything seemed to pause, the wind stopped blowing the sound of something tearing sounded out, looking ahead the group of three saw something that made them shake, in thin air a long tear could be seen gradually forming,
By the small gap in the air you could see an extremely ugly and muscular finger slowly cutting downwards with its claw, after the hole was sufficient or was deemed sufficient by this being it tried to push its full hand through, but it was being strongly repelled as if a mysterious force was pushing it back,
Seeing this the group of three let out sighs of relief, but they thought too soon, suddenly a cruel and wicked voice came from the other side of the tear,
" Hahaha such weak and insignificant being's, I can smell your fear, and I feed on it,"
Hearing this the doe felt a chill run down their spine, suddenly the figure pulled it's ugly arm back into the dimensional tear, by now the dimensional tear was already closing, the world around it seemed to be forcing it to close, as if healing an abnormality,
But just before it closed a barely visible black mist like object passed through it, the mist might be barely visible to some, but with the amount of energy it emitted it looked like a huge dark phantom to the rest of them.
"Run," a voice sounded out, the two men seeing this dark formless mist retreated, fear from the very dept of their eyes, the bratty girl didn't hesitate, running away at the first sight of trouble, the two men weren't far behind,
Suddenly the black mist made a move, it was too fast reaching them in an instant, and the with a screech it surrounded the two men, invading their body trough all holes in their body, their eyes, ears nose and mouths a huge amount of black mist flooded into their body's,
The first guy was the first to feel the effect, his body started withering at a rapid rate, a look of fear and helplessness could be seen in his eyes and with a thud he feel lifelessly to the ground,
The second guys death was mostly the same, he saw visual images flash past his mind, scenes of his worst fear coming through, but it got worst, he couldn't even scream or breath, the black mist seemed to amplify his fear by a hundred times,
His fear seemed to act as a catalyst for the black mist as it spread through every atom of his very being, devouring him whole, as his body withered and fell lifelessly to the ground,
This process happened much faster than defined, as in just a few seconds the two men where dead, the mist got thicker and well defined as it formed a face with a faint human like expression of disdain, it turned its head to its next target, the bratty girl,
Seeing this girl didn't hesitate as a bottle appeared in her hand once more, in one smooth motion she drank the contents inside,
What was inside the bottle was unknown, but it seemed to have given the girl a Hugh boost in speed, with a step the ground beneath her feet cracked "Crack!" and with fear in her eyes she sped forward covering hundreds of meters in an instant,
The mist like phantom seemed to be having fun, a it could easily keep up with her, suddenly a voice that seemed to be composed of the crying voice of the two men it just devoured sounded out, "you're afraid, I can feel that delicious fear growing hahaha,"
The bratty girl was indeed afraid, as she increased her speed the two of them where extremely fast covering a long distance, they ran for a few minutes and a dome flowing with energy came into view,
