Kim Jaesuk is inside the arena with me and Frankwell.
"What are you doing here?! It's dangerous!"
I shouted at him.
"If I wasn't here, you could've died just now..."
"Ugh..."
I can't say anything to that because it's true.
That was the first time I felt so close to death.
"He's so fast, so stay focused."
He said while getting into position next to me.
I turned my head to look at the entrance of the barrier, when suddenly a red coloured barrier overlapped the current one from inside, isolating this space from outside.
"Wha-"
"It's a blood barrier... it's a forbidden skill that can't be deactivated until the caster died, because it used the caster's blood as catalyst to form the barrier."
After saying that, he smiled creepily.
"Which means, you're staying here until either of us dies. HAHAHAHAHA!"
He laughed loudly after that, then I said:
"You know you'll be dying too even if you kill us right?"
"WHO CARES! I DON'T CARE AS LONG AS I CAN KILL YOU!!"
Feeling that it's finally getting dangerous, I got into stance myself before asking Kim Jaesuk,
"Hey Jaesuk..."
"?"
"You ever killed someone before?"
"No, why?"
"Seems like today's the day we'll kill someone..."

While saying that, the strange aura surrounding Frankwell is getting stronger to the point that it's very thick, before forming a whirlpool behind him.
"You fucking bastard... come!"
I cursed him before shouting, and the fight begin.

(Outside the barrier)
I was about to dash towards inside the barrier because I saw Kim Jaesuk and Alex inside together with Frankwell, but just as I was about to enter, someone knocked me back.
Then another barrier starts to expand from inside covering the whole arena, which makes it impossible to break from outside, unless the Headmistress is here.
I turned my head to look at the one who knocked me.
Turns out it was Joma.
"Joma, you traitor!"
"What are you talking about, Alex? I'm merely giving Frankwell the chance to take his revenge..."
"You're killing them! You gave him the blood rage pill! That's why he's able to use the blood barrier."
"Oh you know a lot huh..."
Joma smiled after saying that, he then continued.
"Anything else you know?"
"You, you're one of the Syndicate Criminal Organisation member, the Blood User- Yuga!"
Joma, or rather Yuga, smiled brightly as though he's happy that his identity got revealed.
"You're correct! Congratulations! I'm number 6 within the organisation, Yuga. Nice to meet you once again, Alex..."
After that, I then started to channel my mana, getting ready to fight.
"You know, Joma... I've never liked you even once."
"Hey, that's Yuga now. It's unfortunate because I kinda like your attitude towards me."
I uses my magic straight away to form a barrier to surround him.
He didn't move and only stayed still, as if looking forward to see what I'll do.
I then caged him inside my barrier with one hand, and the other hand forming a magic circle when I started chanting.
Aside from my barrier magic, I have an elemental magic as well, which is wind.
After chanting, the magic circle grow bigger and a huge amount of wind blade started to pour towards him.

Just an instant before the attack hit Yuga, I removed the barrier and the attack slashed through him.
After slicing him up, I didn't let my guard down because I know that he's not one to be beaten that easily.
And as expected, his body pieces started to gather together as well as the blood, forming a new body that looks similar to before.
And it's completely unscathed.
"You didn't let your guard down huh... how boring..."
After saying that, the mana surrounding him started to turn into blood which formed a sword for him.
"!"
He then dashed towards me straight away.
I then throw barriers at him to block his advance, but he sliced through it with ease.
"Hahaha your barrier's too weak, Alex... give me something stronger!!"
"Shit, I would if I can..."
I keep on stepping back while blocking Yuga's smooth advance.
I looked around to see if any of the teacher and adventurers around can help me, but they're all preoccupied with evacuating the spectator and handling the shadow's slave.
'Shit, this is the worst case scenario...'
After that thought crossed my mind, Yuga finally reached me.
"Hello there, and bye!"
He said that and slashed his sword at me.

(Right outside the colosseum)
"You're here..."
I was flying towards the colosseum in highest speed when I heard the news that Shadow's Slave skill has been casted there.
I was about to arrive when someone appeared in front of me like a ghost.
"Argus..."
It was the caster of the skills itself, Argus.
"Long time no see, Alice."
He smiled before continue to talk.
"How about we just sat here and wait, while talking about old times?"
Ignoring his words, I summoned Flamming straight away.
"!"
Right after appearing, it looks surprised after looking at the opponent, before turning serious straight away.
"Long time no see, Flammie..."
"Don't call me by that name, you bastard..."
It got angry the moment Argus called it by its nickname.
Then Flamming started to grow bigger in size until its about as tall as me.
"Oh, you're going serious mode right away?"
Without answering his question, Flamming roared flames toward Argus instead.
Argus did the simplest thing to defend against that attack. He simply pointed his sword at the fire coming towards him, and the fire got split into two.

"How scary, it's gonna be tough to fight both of you by myself but..."
After saying that, someone appeared next to him.
Just based on my feeling alone, I can tell that he's as strong as Argus.
"Now we're even."
"Ganging up on a lady like this, aren't you guys ashamed?"
"Not if it's a lady like you..."
I started to ask question while stalling for time.
"What is your purpose for invading us like this?"
"You definitely know what is our purpose, no need to act dumb..."
I squinted my eyes before guessing,
"It's Kim Jaesuk, isn't it? You saw him weeks ago when He went out of the academy..."
"It was stupid of you to let him out like that... do you think we're gonna let a hero candidate grow? A single Marion is enough to give us a lot of trouble.."
"The Hero from central continent, Marion huh... to think that his influence reached here..."
"That's right... if another Marion shows up, it's gonna be over for us. Anyway, are you done buying for time?"
"?!"
"You think I wouldn't know? We used to be companion, of course I know you need time to channel the power of your unique magic."
I almost forgot about the fact that we used to be companion, but that's all in the past anyway.
"Well, thanks for being considerate. That consideration of yours will be buried here along with your corpse..."
I then poured out the mana that I compressed inside my heart and it starts to separate and forming multiple stars around me.
High up in the sky, the stars start to shine brightly as well.
Argus then looked at the sky before saying,
"It's been a while since I saw this magic, still look as magnificent as ever..."

It's a magic that I've developed over the years I've ventured the world together with my past companion.
And the one who helped me developed it is the one standing against me right now.
"To think that there'll be a day where I'll fight you using the stars magic..."
I said while feeling a little nostalgic.
"Throw away that feeling, Alice. It's time to fight."
After saying that, both Argus and his accomplice channeled their mana as well.
Argus has a bone coming out of his wrist, which then he used as a sword.
-Bone Magic, Bone Manipulation.
While the other one started to chant a summoning spell.
An 8-legged creatures then appeared out of the gigantic magic circle behind him.
-Dark Summoning Magic, Arachnid Queen.
It was a gigantic spider with horrifying build and a single large terrifying eye on its face.
I looked around to see that there's some people still evacuating on the ground.
I was about to suggest moving place when Argus suddenly attacked out of the blue.
I blocked his swung with the star's energy that's forming on my hand.
"I told you to get rid of unnecessary feeling! Focus on the fight to kill, Alice!"
He then started attacking aggressively.
Flamming was about to help me when the gigantic spider shot a web towards it.
It breathes fire that burns the web instantly.
"As expected of a spirit king..."
Argus' accomplice praised, before continuing.
"I've dreamt of making you mine before..."
"Keep on dreaming."
After saying that, Flamming starts to grow again about to the same size as the gigantic spider.
I then stopped paying attention to them and focused on my own fight, otherwise I might be dead because the one standing in front of me is one of the strongest people in the Eastern Continent.
I then poured more mana into the stars surrounding me, making them more bright before using them to attack.

Argus then started to use his magic as well.
Bones are coming out of his body and then started to fly around him.
He then uses wind magic to form a tornado to contain the sharp bones covered in mana before it flew towards my attack.
