Eu Meh.
Born into a lower middle class family, no friends growing up, never interested in anything. That is until she found Martial Arts.
It was like a saving grace to someone so severely undermotivated. She just found Martial Arts to be so fascinating.
The best part was, her family came from a long lineage of Traditional Chinese martial artists. So she didn't have to pay learning fees or waste time in an old run down dojo.
She could learn the very thing that interests her, in the comfort of her own home. This was probably the most exciting thing in her life. Aside from Li asking to come over.
That is basically her 11 years of backstory. She's just not a very interesting person.
Back to the story.
Whilst Li was listening to music he was interrupted by his mother calling his name.
Ever since they had gotten Li headphones and he had started listening to music they almost couldn't get his attention whilst listening.
He would often cultivate with headphones while listening to rainforest sounds on repeat. It was an effective way to get into a mood for cultivating.
But his friend was about to arrive so his mother went up to his room to ensure he was ready to leave.
He was ready and as soon as Eu Meh arrived, they left. There were no formal greetings or goodbyes, they just left.
"Shouldn't we say goodbye" Eu Meh said hastily after the door closed. "No, we won't" Li replied in an authoritative tone.
"Why not. If I'm going to meet them, shouldn't I say hello?" Eu Meh said bewilderedly. "We will absolutely not." Li said like he was trying to hide something.
"Eh, whatever." Eu Meh didn't care. What would she know. She didn't care all that much.
Li entered the car Eu Meh arrived in and marveled at it's design. It was very different from his new car. It was an old, beaten up Ute.
"What a nice car" Li said in a wholehearted way.
"Stop trying to be nice, this car sucks. It's old, used, and cheap. Unlike you, who has a new car every year." Eu Meh said in the most tsundere way possible.
"How do you even know that?" Li inquired suspiciously.
"Because every time you show up to school at the start of the year you are always cruisin' in a new car." Eu Meh said with a hint of jealousy as her family hasn't bought a new car in 7 years.
"Well it's good to know you aren't stalking me. I've noticed girls trying to follow me home recently. It wasn't to much of a bother at first but now it interrupts my personal time because I have to shake them off" Li said slightly annoyed.
Mini flashback
"Finally schools done so I can go home"
Li got up from his chair and began walking to the entrance of the school.
Since he was relatively well into his cultivation he noticed multiple pairs of eyes on him from the same direction.
He turned around to check he wasn't having a superstitious episode and voila there were like 5 girls peeking at him from around the corner.
'Oh my god these women are relentless'. Li began speed walking which was very fast for any normal human.
Since these women knew the general route he took home he had to divert his path and take an extra 20 minutes just to get home.
All because he didn't want everyone in the school to know where he lived.
"If it bothers you that much shouldn't your parents pick you up from school?" Eu Meh
"They can't, they have things to do."
Wait. We're almost at her house and I still haven't introduced myself.
"Hello Mr and Mrs Eu Meh's parents, I am Li Liang. It is a pleasure to meet you." He said respectfully. Trying not to disrespect her parents.
Hello Li, it is a pleasure to meet you too." Said Mr Eu.
"I apologise for not introducing myself earlier, it was very rude of me." Li said regretfully.
"No it's fine hunny" Mrs. Eu said trying to make Li feel better. He was only a child after all.
Just after she finished saying that they pulled up to the house.
Without any thought Eu Meh pulled Li into the dojo. "Okay you said you wanted to learn Martial Arts so let's begin with what you know.
"I know absolutely nothing about Martial arts." Li said embarrassed.
"Nothing. Like you don't even know how to punch? I thought you said you practiced authentic Martial Arts? Were you lying?" Eu Meh said almost feeling betrayed.
"No it's not that kind of Martial Arts, it's not about fighting or defense you just wouldn't understand." Li said trying to cover his tracks.
"Hmm okay, but I just feel a little betrayed." Eu spoke her woes to Li.
"No, it's my fault for lying, I'm sorry Eu Meh." Li truly felt sorry for half deceiving this girl.
"Let's forget this happened and you can just learn Martial Arts from me from now on." Eu Meh said entirely forgetting the conversation that had just transpired.
First let's move onto punching.
For the entire afternoon Li got taught how to fight, since he wasn't a heavenly prodigy and was prone to making mistakes he was just an average talent.
There's nothing wrong with that. He was pretty much like all the other people in the world he wasn't blessed.
After he left he went back to his field and tried putting Qi into his attacks and they were very much stronger than before but they couldn't be considered techniques.
So he decided to infuse it into the attacks and made a very basic technique. He adequately named it Strong Fist technique.
This was just a strong version of punching and he wanted to hone his energy into this but he knew his duty to cultivate.
He also decided that today was the day he would tell the world about cultivation.
