"Yang Xiu, Yang Xiu, Yang Xiu!"
The sound of a large crowd outside the company reverberated continuously. Screams were followed by persistent shouts, which suggested that the security was likely making every effort to drive the throng away. However, it wasn't going to be as easy as they thought and to be honest, they knew this.
Most of them were holding signs that read. YOU ARE AWESOME, YANG XIU! DO NOT LEAVE US, PLEASE!
MY YANG XIU, MARRY ME!
Under the sweltering day light, dozens of people of various genders were screaming. It was a little frightening because the majority of them had come prepared with the intention of camping outside the company.
"What a headache." Digging his fingers into his fiery red hair, Yang Xiu sighed in complete annoyance.
Having announced that he was retiring from music after a dreadful long exhausting tour, Yang Xiu had not expected that his fans would be so upset. And with the fear of his fans harming him, the company had advised him to remain in his studio at least until dusk. They also provided enough food and beverages so that he wouldn't have to think about his bothersome fans.
He had been an idol since he was 15, ensnared in the ludicrous entertainment world. Who was he to blame? His face! He was just too beautiful to behold! And to make matters worse, he was also endowed with a beautiful voice to match his stunning appearance.
"I LOVE YOU YANG XIU!" sounded in his ears from one of his fans standing outside.
"Enough of this!" Yang Xiu rose up and walked towards the door which abruptly opened to reveal his manager.
Manager Jin was a pudgy middle-aged man who only cared about money, and regardless of Yang Xiu's unstable, ominous personality, he constantly chose to disregard that since Yang Xiu was nothing more than a money-making machine.
He was drenched in his own sweat and he was straining to maintain a smile on his face which caused Yang Xiu to scowl. "I just watched the news. Please! Tell me you're kidding about quitting!"
Yang Xiu's piercing crystal blue eyes grew dull. "Why would I make that joke about that?"
Manager Jin forced a laugh, hoping that he was just having a nightmare. "Yang Xiu, I.. um." He reached out to touch Yang Xiu's shoulders only to be met with a murderous look that gave him the chills.
"Yang Xiu." He removed his hand from his shoulder and called again, chuckling apprehensively. "Please, do not do this to me."
"I'm 21 years old now, and I've paid all the money that I am "allegedly" owing this company." Yang Xiu complained as he maneuvered through manager Jin to leave the studio.
He was at his limit.
Orphaned at a young age of 5, in a fairly severe accident that was significant enough to interest the media, he had no idea that his life would take off as a superstar with the caption BEAUTIFUL CHILD SURVIVES ACCIDENT.
It was a typical caption, wasn't it?
Sadly, his face received more attention than his parents, who were mutilated by their exploding car. He could still clearly recall seeing blood splattered on the pavement of the road and body parts lying about.
Did he cry?
He barely remembered them, not because he was young, but rather because they were workaholics and frequently abandoned him in kindergarten till late at night, when he had already fallen asleep. The procedure continued indefinitely and came to a conclusion as a process.
Just as he grasped the door handle, Manager Jin grabbed his shoulders and yanked him back to the room. "You can't do this to me! I have endured five years of horrible suffering! Dealing with your behavior and actions, concealing stuff that might cause a scandal and destroy your career! Quitting now will make my labor in vain!"
Yang Xiu examined the shoulders that Manager Jin had taken hold of. His manager was well aware of the one thing he detested: getting touched. He suddenly laughed.
Those sounds. The result was a chillingly foreboding feeling in the room.
"Why do you keep touching me, old man?" He asked, developing an ominous smile on his lips. Uncomfortably broadening, the smile adorned his exquisitely delicate features. His pointed canines were on display.
Manager Jin swallowed, sweat forming on his forehead. Everyone was aware of Yang Xiu's strong dislike of making physical contact with other people. "Yo.. you.. I'll reveal everything you have done to the media."
"Do it." Yang Xiu crooned with his head tilted to the side and his bright, piercing blue eyes glowing softly. He was already really irritated by people calling his name outside, his manager only had to aggravate him more.
Manger Jin froze in disbelief, obviously not anticipating the statement. "W...what."
Yang Xiu took a little dagger out of his jeans pocket, keeping that unnerving grin on his face. "But, you must first endure the consequences for touching me. An intestine will do just fine." And suddenly, the door behind him opened, shoving him firmly aside.
"What is..." A quiet voice filled with perplexity rang in, but just as Yang Xiu was ready to respond, a fierce image that seemed like a glitch flashed in his head, giving him a life-threatening headache caused him to stiffen without having the energy to scream.
Once more, there was a blur image, but this time it was a little clearer. Unusual, forceful light erupting from a lifeless, gloomy woodland.
A deep, husky voice shouted out in wrath, "Why won't this break?!"
Yang Xiu's head began to hurt more, and this time he summoned the strength to scream before falling to his knees and placing his hand against the floor, which was smooth and unyielding.
He was having trouble breathing, and he was furious! Extreme fury resulting from the perception that someone had broken a rule he had established!
Blood began flowing out of his nose and ears but he could hear manager Jin and other people's muffled voices.
The moment Yang Xiu felt his heart stop, he erupted into a wrath-filled laughter and asked, "What is happening?"
Suddenly, everything went black and he could hear himself, screaming in what seemed like a distance before succumbing into total tranquil darkness.
