A terrifyingly huge snake slithered across the beautiful plains of Huo Tian Mountain, it was the size of a 11'ft human being, had scales of striking black glistening color, with a red needle-like slit on its forehead. The snake had beastly yellow eyes, yet it appeared to have intelligence surpassing a human. It slithered once again, a large roar coming from behind as it scurried away to hide.
Li Shihyuk coiled his huge snake body, carefully hidden in a Great Mulberry Bush, awaiting for the potential danger to show itself.
As seconds ticked away fast, then a minute, and the rustling of the Great Mulberry Bush, that was caused by the stomping-like sound of footsteps slowly disappeared.
Then did the anxious Li Shihyuk calmed down, uncoiling himself.
Li Shihyuk slithered once again, after a day of traversing alone. He finally returned to the Skin-Flaying Ghost Viper City.
The 22'ft tall guard snakes in front of the gigantic gate of the underground city looked imposingly as they flared their fangs and weapons at Li Shihyuk.
However, the red-lined Li Shihyuk didn't appear to be scared at all, instead he spoke the Demonic Beast language.
"Seniors, please let this servant enter." He then continued, "The young master of the Tian family awaits my return." Li Shihyuk then opened his large mouth, showing an object protected by layers of ethereal walls.
The guard snakes lowered their fangs and their disdainful eyes lessened. They then nodded to each other and allowed Li Shihyuk to enter, despite being in the middle of the night.
The Skin-Flaying Viper City has a strange rule, no one is allowed to leave in the night. Those who break this rule is punishable by death. Li Shihyuk's arrival caused the guards to become hostile, but after mentioning the Tian family, and the object that he showed. The guards under the Tian family could only ignore this transgression.
The Tian family was a powerful household in the Skin-Flaying Viper clan. The guard snakes could not afford to offend such people.
In the manor of the Tian family, Lou Tian waited patiently. His expression grim as he slowly succumb to his illness.
