Noah entered the volcano and what was in front of him was a massive demonic summoning Altar with portals opening up every once in a while. Noah noticed something interesting though. Through some of the portals there would be the smell of a soul but the souls smelled like the most tasty thing in the world and through some of the others there would be the smell of rotten flesh and blood. Another thing was that the portals with the smell of souls would be open for much longer than the ones with just blood and flesh.
Noah thought that the ones with the smell of a soul coming through them must be experienced in summoning demons because they knew exactly what a demon wanted and they stayed open for much longer. And the ones with flesh and blood closed fairly quickly. Noah wondered if he should enter a portal but how would he get back? There were so many questions but no answer. Noah waited to see if demon that went in earlier would come back.
So that's what he did he waited near the altar until he saw a demon coming back. 2 days later and Noah was getting annoyed but then a portal opened up and an injured demon came out. The demon was in terrible shape with part of its lower body missing coupled with its left arm. Noah flew to the demon and as he landed the demon shouted don't get close stay stay back!! Noah quickly clarified the situation by telling the demon he wasn't here to attack. The demon obviously didn't believe Noah but it tried to stall for time.
So what do you want? I just want to ask you some questions Noah replied. First your name. My name is Natanael! Okay Natanael what world did you come from. Natanael hearing this was angered THE ANGELS!! THOSE GODAMN ANGELS!! Noah hearing this felt like he just found out a major piece of information. 𝑨𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒍𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒖𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚 𝒆𝒙𝒊𝒔𝒕! But then he felt like an idiot if demons existed then angels also existed. Noah kept his face expressionless as he listened to what Natanael was saying. Noah asked what world he was in and Natanael stopped cursing and then went on to explain. The demon explained that he was summoned by high ranking demons as canon fodder to fight in a war.
The demon then narrated that he was killed by an angel but before it could destroy his soul the angel was killed by another demon. Wait killed? but your here aren't you? That's because the mark of Tartarus protected my soul. Any demon killed in another world will at most lose a part of their soul taking centuries to repair but it was better than permanent death. Noah then asked about the world he was summoned to and what angels looked like.
The demon said that he was summoned into a high grade world. The rankings of the world were as follows. Low ranking world a world where the species living there barely know how to use magic. Mid ranked world a world where the creatures living there know how to use magic fairly well and are pretty powerful. High ranking world a world where the creatures living there a very powerful and are very proficient in the use of magic. Legendary ranked world a world where the creatures living there are extremely powerful and are masters at using magic. There were a couple of higher ranks but the demon didn't know them.
Natanael then went on to explain what angels looked like. They basically looked like humans but with a huge pair of wings coming out of there back the more wings an angel had the more powerful they were. The ranks of angels are as follows.
Highest orders
Seraphim.
Cherubim.
Thrones.
Middle Orders
Dominions.
Virtues.
Powers.
Lowest orders
Principalities
Archangels
Angels.
A low ranked demon was equal to Angels and Archangels. Middle ranked demons were equal to Principalities, powers, and virtues. High ranked demons were equal to Dominions and thrones. While the last 2 could only be fought against by demon lords and demon kings. By this point Natanael's body stopped bleeding and he able to stand again. His height was about 3 meters with his skin being crimson red and 2 long horns protruding out of his head. With Natanael being able to stand again he felt humiliated at having to answer to Noah's demands. His arms quickly caught on fire and he charged at Noah. But before he could get to him he felt his vision being upside down. He didn't even understand what happened to him before he died.
Noah quickly collected his soul and pondered what to do next. Instead of being overwhelmed with the information Noah felt a burning ambition ignite deep inside his body. The ambition to grow more powerful. The ambition to conquer. The ambition to explore different worlds.
