It was a normal day in Yotsoba high school for girls, All girls dressed in a decent attire and maintained a chest length or bob and should have black hair but one of them was the Ritsuko Saki. Unlike other girl students, Saki wore revealing uniform but teachers didn't mind but was concerned for her keeping blonde hair. She often gets scolded by the teachers but then she was stopped by Shizuka Sensei who was the school's nurse. As she apologized the teachers warned her and scuffed at Shizuka Sensei though prepy looked like a gyaru too.
"Thank you Shizuka Onee-chan" said Saki
"it's Sensei" Shizuka said flicking her forehead " Saki.. I told you, blonde hair doesn't suit you"
"Just take a break Shizuka Onee-chan, you are my well wisher and childhood friend, I know you'll always protect me"
Ritsuko Saki and Yamada Shizuka are childhood neighbors and best friends. Both are just 5 years age gap. Saki's change was all because of Shizuka who entertained her when she was a gyaru making her follow her footsteps. Shizuka changed her look to prepy after her grandmother's death but now she could not maintain Saki's protest of not changing her look that she felt regret.
Shizuka was upset as she could not always save her student and best friend who was like a sister before she gets into trouble. As she thought about it, she heard running and when she came out, she was shocked to see a panting Saki as she was out of breath.
As she took her inside, she told her to rest and handed a glass making to quench her thirst. She was holding a circular which said that the with the permission given by the headmistress, Saki was herby giving a red alert warning as she should change her ways of maintaining or they will take strict action to change her look by bringing the barber they choose or if she has to refuse, will be punished by getting removed from the school.
"Please help me Shizuka Onee-chan" she panicked
Shizuka was stunned
"I have always had my hair to my waist? And I love my hair I am not cutting it, I feel you are out of line."
Shizuka stated that they were just was trying to be uniform, trying to present a nice clean discuss discipline.
Saki responded angrily "Well if I must cut my hair for uniformity, how come Onee-chan never had that when you were in high school, it's not fair."
She said that she feels jealous of Shizuka who had knee length hair tied in a high side ponytail. She too attended school but she attended public school. Saki got in by Shizuka's recommendion and has to survive in this disciplinary school as discipline is very strict and the reason She joined here was because of Shizuka. During high school Shizuka too wore brown and blonde hair but she changed after the 2nd semester but keeping her long hair. Since then Shizuka maintained her long hair.
Shizuka thought and got something in mind, then replied: " OK then, I will cut my knee length hair too, the same time you will be having your hair cut , do we have a deal ?"
Saki looked stunned and said "Really?."
" Yes but I don't want to sport this chest length or Bob length."
"Then what?"
Shizuka pulls out a picture from her mobile which showed a picture of her favourite Hollywood actress sporting a pixie cut and begs that she wanted to sport that cut and wanted both to have matching hairstyles as tomorrow was going to be Shizuka's birthday.
It took time for Saki to agree then accepted as it would be a great birthday gift for her Onee-chan as she hugged her for saving.
"Okay then, come with me tomorrow and we will get this done with it."
The next day, Saki followed Shizuka to her car and they drove to the shop where they first got their haircuts when they were small.
Shizuka parked the car in town centre as they're wasn't any parking slots near the shop.
As they got out, they both walked towards the shrine and then to the forest where they climbed the stairs where there was a shop where both did there hair when they were small.
Saki was stunned as she walked, she thought "Have I overloaded my mouth? Was Onee-chan really going through with this? Were they both really going to have their hair reduced to a Pixie Cut? Oh my Lord what am I getting into?
As they entered they were greeted by the black kimono lady who was teaching her student about cosmetology lesssins. She stopped her work as she bowed them as greeting which she was followed by the student
"To the Winds of flower, to the stream of the river, Katsumi Kejoro at your service, How can I help you"
The assistant too bowed, " Hello, my name is Chisato, what can we do for you today"
Shizuka said "We are both wanting to get a short Pixie Cut, that will be done at the same time, side by side chairs, is that possible?"
Katsumi replied: "Well yes, we can do that right now, this would be a practice for you Chisato. Come in, please follow me right this way please?"
"Wait before that, please help me sister get her hair black as this is school rules" said Shizuka pushing her forward
"Sure, I'll do it" said Chisato escorting Saki to the colouring section as Shizuka waited in waiting chair as Saki sat as Chisato made 4 sections and colored her hair black. It took 1 2 hours and Saki came out with jet black hair.
" You look great" said Shizuka as both were escorted to get their hair cut. Saki was thinking, this was actually going to happen now, no backing out now, this is going to happen, all her long hair is going to be cut to a Pixie Cut, Oh My Lord.
They followed the two women to the chairs in the back, the chairs were next to each other, just as requested by Shizuka. Saki thought about how calm and Shizuka was, no expression at all as she was seated first. Then Chisato asked her to have a seat and seated her next to her Onee-chan.
Then Shizuka showed Katsumi and Chisato the picture and asked to have their hair cut, to a 3″ Pixie Cut, both to be done at the same time.
"OK, we can do this together, in unison." said Katsumi Kejoro
Chisato brought two capes from the cupboard and Shizuka was caped up first, but; Saki was about a second behind being caped up also. Saki was wide eyed sitting watching as Chisato pulled her hair to the front. At the same time, Katsumi just caped up Shizuka, since her hair was done in an upsweep design, on top of her head.
Saki was caped up fully and her pontytail was swung to the back.
Katsumi undid the pins holding Shizuka's hair in place.Once undone, the hair cascaded downward to the chairs back, the hair bounced out, then fell full length to the back of the chair and recoiled to the to the floor.
Chisato yelled: "Wow look at all that hair."
Saki turned to look at Shizuka's hair, which fell downward like a waterfall, to the floor. What kind of birthday gift was Shizuka getting as all that hair from Shizuka's was a lot to be cut that short.
Saki looked at all the hair that Shizuka had. She had heard about it being long, but; never had anyone ever seen it all down, until now, Saki and the two beauticians were viewing all her long hair to the floor. Katsumi tied off Shizuka's mane into a low ponytail. Saki looked at her Ponytail for the last time in the mirror, she said to herself, good bye my long mane of hair.
Shizuka looked at her hair for the last time and said: "Oh my Lord have I waited for this day to come about for so long, now it is reallt going to happen."
The beauticians looked at each other and said: "Are you both ready, ready for each of you to have all your long hair cut off at the same time now?"
Saki looked at her Onee-chan, Shizuka looked at Saki, Shizuka reached out to hold Saki's hand, Saki reached out to Shizuka like those days during their childhood,both were holding each others hand in a solidarity of loosing all their long hair together.
Both Katsumi and Chisato grabbed Saki and Shizuka's hair as both replied "YES, lets do it now."
Chisato was left , as Katsumi with Shizuka was right . It was fun to watch, each beuticians scissors cut into the clients hair, the severed hair fell to the left side for Saki and to the right side for Shizuka. As more hair was being cut away, the severed hair fell limp on each beauticians hand, the hair from the heads of the two women fell at their napes to their respective chin.
It was kind of mezmorizing, as Saki and Shizuka watched the hair fall to a new short length at the nape, then on the other side, curling at chin length was so different to see it happening. While the ponytails were laying limp in the beauticians hands. Finally the last cuts came for both Shizuka and Saki as they sat and looked at themselves in the mirror.
Saki said" I like this style, I might just let it grow out after my Senior year, to a nice chin length Bob Cut."
Shizuka was in awe at the hair curled under her chin, Shizuka reached up and touched the short ends, while the both Katsumi and Chisato handed each lady their ponytails. Shizuka looked at her long ponytail and said "Hair, my long beautiful hair, finally it has been severed to a nice Bob Cut, Oh how light headed I feel."
Saki looked at her ponytail and stated"Oh My God, look at this ponytail, I never thought I would have cut it until now Onee-chan, now I am glad I have cut it off, like you said, it is a lot lighter on my head now."
Katsumi and Chisato both admired the ponytails of each lady, holding the tails up and looking at the lengths.
Then Katsumi said to both "Are you both ready to go shorter now?"
Both nodded, then said: "Lets do it." they said it in unison.
The beauticians both grabbed their clippers, the clippers were fitted with a 3″ attachement, both turned on the clippers, Saki and Shizuka jumped at the sound, knowing now as the clippers were now roaring, that their Bob length hair, was very soon, going to be reduced further, to a 3″ Pixie Cut.
Both women watched a the beauticians brought the clippers up to the nape of each ladies necks, then ran the clippers straight up the nape to the crown. Both heads were being reduced to a 3″ clipper cut, as hair rained down from both women, the shop was now really buzzing, sort of like a bee hive that had just been hit. The buzzing of the clippers almost fell into tune of the buzzing of the women who were spellbound, getting to be a part of those, watching as these two women, were being shorn, each at the same time, to a 3″ Pixie cut.
The clippers moved up the nape 3 times on each lady, hair piled deeply on the floor, very thick piles were mounting, as both ladies were loosing about 6 more inches of hair each with each clipper passing. Then the beauticians went up and over the left ear, hair was piling up on the capes now, more was gathering on the floor. The the beauticians went up the side burn to the top, as hair piled on their individual capes. The beauticians were like two race cars, they turned the clippers to the foreheads, then ran them back to the crown, more hair fell.
Then the beauticians raced to the other side at the side burns, up and over the ear, then they were done. In a matter of 15 minutes, the two ladies had gone from a chin length approximately 9 inches of a Bob Cut, to a new 3″ Pixie Cut.
Saki looked at Shizuka as both were uncapped and they stood up. Both were given their ponytails. Both grabbed their ponytails, held the ponytails up as they took a selfie.
Chisato looked at them, then said: "Now that was an event, everyone here will never forget. Oh, I got some photos of the whole cutting of the ponytails and then the bob cuts to a 3″ pixie Cut..
Agreeing both went out of the shop together. A really close bond was now developed between them, having done this together. As Shizuka and Saki rode back. Both were holding their ponytails and shaking them at each other as they walked .
