Bassena was standing near the head of the examination bed, so he couldn't see Zein's face right away. But the guide hadn't been moving or reacting at all, eyes only looking at the monitor facing them.
What is this? Is he not happy? As expected, is it too much for him to have twin boys? Are they reminding him of his little brothers?
All kinds of questions full of worry swirled in Bassena's mind, but the answer could only come by direct inquiry. Swallowing nervously, Bassena held the guide's shoulder and carefully tried to look at that pretty face. "Z-Zein? Are you al--"
"Twins..." the guide, who finally got out of his daze, muttered. He turned his head toward Bassena and stretched his lips wide. "We have twins!"
