Helen POV.
Convincing Louis was not as hard as I thought it would be, maybe I had gone to him at the right moment. I've seen the way he behaves around Kylie and I know that he adores her but I didn't know what had happened to him, for him to behave like he has done towards me because I have been an invisible factor to them and I realized that this was my chance to act.
Getting up from my bed, I went and made breakfast for us all. While I was still cooking, Kylie entered the kitchen.
"Good morning, Kylie." I greeted them nicely, throwing a smile in her direction.
"Good morning, you are making breakfast?" she seemed shocked.
"Yes, pancakes." I smiled and she nodded before going back out.
I began to set the dining table when Louis came down already dressed for work.
"Good morning, Helen," he said as he came over and pecked my cheeks. "You made breakfast?"
"Yeah, why are you surprised?"
"I'm surprised because this is my first time seeing you cooking, no offense but when we were young you hated anything partaking in cooking."
"Well, I later got fond of it when I found out it was a lot of fun."
"True," he said as he sat down on a chair and began digging into his meal.
Over his shoulder, I saw Kylie looking down at us as she stood on the stairs and a smirk formed on my lips.
"Kylie," Louis called turning his head to face her. "Come Kylie. Helen made breakfast." he beckoned to her.
"I came to take Kim's meal to her."
"Why? Is anything wrong with her?" he asked worried.
"No, she's perfectly fine. She had made me promise to give her her meal in bed," she said as she began dishing out the meal.
"Typical Kim." he chuckled.
"Yeah." she nodded her head smiling.
"Are you still going out?"
"Yeah, it can't be avoided." she chuckled.
"You mean you aren't going to work with Louis?" I asked as I got confused.
"Yeah." she plainly said before she made her way back upstairs.
"What's wrong?" I turned to Louis.
"Nothing," he said as he munched on the pancake. " She's getting back to her work."
"But I thought she worked as your assistant?"
"Yeah but that was temporary."
"Then what work is she getting back to?" I kept questioning him.
"She's Kim's nanny," he said as he rose from the table. " I need to go now." he kissed my forehead before heading out.
"A nanny?" I lamented after he had gone out of sight.
****************** KYLIE'S POV***************
Kim and I had today planned out and I couldn't care less if someone couldn't believe that I worked as a nanny.
"Are you ready?" I asked as I entered Kim's room.
"Almost done," she shouted from the closet.
After some minutes of waiting, she finally came out dressed in a white round neck over jean trousers with matching sneakers.
"I am sure I look like you," she said and we both smiled.
"Yes, you do."
The day before when we were in my room listening over irrelevant things, she had suggested that we should spend the whole of today together so we could make up for the past month.
"Where are we headed to?" she asked excitedly.
"Where do you want to go?" I asked as we made our way out to the car that awaited us.
"I don't know but I've always wished to go for karaoke but daddy never had the time to take me so I would love it if we go for one." she looked at me expectantly.
"It isn't like I have much of a choice," I said and we began our day.
We went to the mall, where Kim got new sets of clothes and upon her insistence, I bought some. After which we went to get our nails done and she was so excited because it was her first time.
"I'm hungry," she said as we got out of the salon where we did our hair.
"There is a restaurant not far from here. Would you mind walking?"I asked and she shook her head which was now blonde, making her look cuter and I smiled.
"Let's go then," I said as I held her hand and we began to walk down to a restaurant Louis had taken me to countless times when I worked with him.
"Kylie, can I share a secret with you?" Kim asked suddenly while we waited for our meal.
"Yeah, sure what is it?" I curiously asked.
"Well, it is about the lady at our house."
"You mean Helen?"
"yeah, I don't like her," she whispered.
"Why?" I was shocked at why she had said it.
"I don't know. She just doesn't feel right," she said and she smiled. At least it wasn't only me who felt like that toward her. " Don't you also like her?"
"Me?"
"Yeah, you seem like you don't like her."
"How did you know?"
"Because you don't talk to her." she shot the arrow at the right spot. Even though been a young girl, she was smart enough to know how the people around her felt. "I guess I'm right."
"But I never said anything?" I defended.
"So how do you feel around her?"
"Is this some sort of investigation?"
"You can take it like that but you must answer my question."
"Well, Detective Kim.. you see she is...."
"Who are we gisting about this time around?" Louis said behind us and we both froze.
