Diana p.o.v
I kept wondering what the tension between Ethan and Amelia was. Amelia excused herself immediately after that occurrence, saying she had somewhere to be.
Though, I had another problem in hand.
There was this blonde haired at the girl's dormitory gate, standing there. He had a tall and lean stature like Noah, looking as casual as well. However, instead of being distracted by a phone, he was twirling some sort of trinket in hand I did not get to look clearly.
Once his eyes laid on me, he literally stopped what he was doing and stared at me with the blue eyes that kept haunting me day and night after that night.
I knew immediately that this was the person I need to avoid.
Has he been there the whole time ? Wasn't that... creepy ?
I quickly walked past him to get to the class, but I could hear him following me. This guy was stalking me first thing in the morning, in a broad daylight.
I slowly took out my phone to call Noah. However, before I could tap anything on the phone, my wrist was snatched, resulting in my phone falling to the ground. I instantly glared up at him.
That action put me in a trance. For a moment, I thought I saw someone I knew.
"What the hell are you doing ?" I seethed, but he did not budge. He did not look guilty at all.
In fact, he even pushed my hand over my head and slammed me against the wall. I was appalled by his action. I looked around, and only a couple of girls minding their own business.
I looked down at his attire. He was not wearing a uniform like any other student here.
I looked around again. This time, it was all clear.
Is there no security at the girl's dormitory ?
"I have a feeling you know me." He said, towering over me.
"Who doesn't know the Eden Gardner ?" I told him. He smirked at my words. Looks like it boosted his ego.
"Keep smiling, Gardner. What will you choose, let me go or I'll report you to the authority about this ?" I glared at him, not wavering from his menacing stare. He replied back the same glare, tilting his head.
"Nobody sees us here. They won't believe you." He mocked my threat.
I glanced over the opening on the left and rolled out of there. I brought his hand together with me, which made his arm twist. He looked like he did not expect it to happen, so I gave a side kick to his shoulder to make him let go of my wrist.
He ended up falling to the ground, groaning. I took my phone from the ground and immediately took a picture of him.
"I heard from someone that not wearing uniform during school hours on the school ground is breaking the school regulations. Have fun spending time in detention, loser." I rolled my eyes and walked away from there, not wanting to deal with him anymore.
I really did not want to resort to that, but as he said, no one was there, so no one would believe him if he said I hit him.
Will I really report him to the authority ? No.
That's what he gets for messing with a girl before. If he thought I was as easy as the girl he snatched from Noah before, he's dead wrong.
If an opportunity arises, maybe I can use the photo to good use.
Soon, I arrived at the class. I got a better understanding of how to find the classroom now. I saw Noah from afar, his face beaming seeing me.
"Hey." I greeted him.
"Hey. How are you ?" he asked as I sat down next to him.
"It was okay. Amelia was super sweet, did you know that ? And.. yeah."
"And ?" He questioned, I zipped my mouth. I almost blurted out about Ethan.
"And... I kinda miss you." I smiled at him, and he smiled sheepishly at my reply. A good safe. He looked super cute when he smiles.
"Did you ? I thought I have to keep it to myself, but I miss you too."
My smile grew bigger, and we were just staring into each other. We just met a few days ago, but my heart growing for him at a dangerous rate. Was it the effect of being my mate ? I did not take myself as someone who gets attached to another so easily.
He leaned his body to my side of the table, maintaining eye contact. My cheekbones were burning, but I could not help but feel giddily. All the thoughts about that Eden Gardner just washed away.
"Alright, settle down. We're starting our lesson now."
He retracted his body back to his seat, and I innocently placed my things on the table.
Have we ever declared anything ? No, but I feel like we were already much more than just.. fresh mates.

It was a couple of weeks after that incident with Eden, and I did not see him since, and my relationship with Noah grew unbearable.
We went on our first date on the weekend, and it was the best. Ian warned me not to go to a secluded area, so our date was limited to the cinema only.
We even had dinner together on that day, and I wondered why Noah never made any first move.. to kiss me. I had been waiting for him to do it even after that date, at classes we met, but the only places he went was on top of my head and my forehead.
After a few days, I decided to ask Alia.
"Hmm, I think it has something to do with his past girlfriend. Oh shit- has he told you that ? Yes ? Thank god. It was his first and last girlfriend before he go on hiatus haha.. sorry I'll explain. He never had a girlfriend before that so he treasured her unlike certain someone, you know. When his girlfriend was 'stolen' from her, he was devastated to let go. Honestly, I think the reason he didn't get a girlfriend after is that he can't move on. But, I'm glad he found you. At least we knew he was finally able to move on !"
That was what she said over the phone call. So, Noah did not tell me the full story of this girlfriend he had.
If I correctly sum up the whole situation, that means the reason he won't kiss me on the lips is because he still misses his old flame ?
That sounds infuriating.
Let's not torture ourselves with assumptions, Diana.
Today, the Swordsmanship first-year students were told to gather. Like Noah said before, there were more than a hundred students alone for the first years. They all looked excited because it was time to prepare for the tournament.
We were gathering at the field in our sports attire. Everyone was grouped in their classes separated into four. They looked casual enough and equally excited even when they were on a separate team.
"Alright guys, listen up." Claps were heard at the front and there was Jonathan Rogers, our team advisor a.k.a teacher, and three other teachers from other teams. Compare to other teachers, he looked the scariest.
There was one woman amongst the teachers. She looked friendly.
"The Swords Championship is just around the corner. We called you here so you would spar with each other to see if you're qualified. This will be scored for your class so no slacking, everyone has to participate." Mr. Rogers said, and some were even groaning at it. So there are those who unwillingly took this class. Weird.
"It's okay. I'm sure it will be over soon for you. I see many potential students among you." The female teacher said cheerfully. She had black hair and dark eyes, but I could see a hint of red when reflecting under the sun.
"It's a shame that the Sinclair isn't on my team, oh well." She added, glancing over at Rogers who smiled briefly. I looked over at Noah and he smiled politely at the comment. I knew he sensed many eyes on him.
Then, I heard a visible laugh close by and it came from a woman. She had black hair and brown eyes, and for some reason, I got a heavy load of Princess syndrome from her.
"The Sinclair that is third in line. Compare to his older brother, he was just a little above average." She mocked Noah, and I was visibly surprised. I thought many respected Sinclairs. What was this uncalled behavior ?
And I just realized standing next to her was Eden Gardner. Was that the reason why I sensed some negative aura from that area earlier ?
"Ariana. You became prettier, and your mouth is even fouler." Noah seethed with a smile. I could see his muscles tensed to remain calm. I also saw the girl, Ariana, heave in a deep breath to remain calm as well.
"Your time with those troublemakers made you less obedient, I see. Just so you know I don't appreciate your reply." She said, her voice sounding controlled and confident, and in high pitch, just like a princess. I rolled my eyes.
"Well, princess, I'm sorry but you gotta deal with it." Noah shrugged, and my eyes widened when I looked at him at the pet name given to her.
Noah noticed my stare, and he wanted to say something but the teacher called us to gather. I quickly bolt out of there.
I was not finished thinking about what Alia said about his past girlfriend, now he openly called another girl, princess ?
I thought he only said all those pet names to me.
I was arranged to spar with a random from a team apart from my own. At first, I got a half-spirited boy who just wanted to get it over with.
About half of the field cleared instantly. The second time, it was quite energized boy. His posture was perfect, and his stare could freeze someone inexperienced.
Unfortunately, once he moved from his spot, his power was not as sturdy. He was intimidating at first, but I could defeat him with ease. Although, I tried not to finish the spar so fast to avoid suspicious glances.
In the end, I finished the 'out of 3' earlier than everyone.
I was stretching my body and had a bottle of water when I sensed someone approaching. Sure enough, it was Noah.
"You run away so soon. I've been wondering what is in your head these days." He playfully nudge my head, and I slapped it away softly.
"She was speaking rudely of you. Princess ? Please." I rolled my eyes, and I heard him laugh.
"Well, make sense that you don't know since you just enrolled in the school."
I glared at him, but I was curious as to what he meant. He noticed my long gaze, asking for him to continue.
"Ariana Hayes, the only possible alive child of our generation that can succeed the throne since our King fails to produce an heir."
A static sound was immediately heard to a deafening level after hearing that. It was as if everything stopped around me and I only saw Noah's mouth moving as he continued to explain.
"I just can't believe after all those years knowing her, her name would be Ariana de Celeste soon. I have no hope for the future."
The blood pumping through my veins horrifyingly fast and I might pass out if I did not get a grip on the situation so soon. I was in the middle of everyone and I could not afford to lose control.
And lo and behold, the person that stood in front of me for my next sparring partner was none other than Ariana Hayes herself, rumored to be Ariana de Celeste soon in the future.
"Hm, I know you, Diana Danielle. Foolish girl. I hope you're not crazy enough to stand in front of the King with that name."
I clenched the sword in my hand, my eyes trained on her. I could not afford to lose my cool even when she dared to make that comment.

Third p.o.v
While Ariana taunted Diana, the latter remained calm, and her eyes stayed still on her, menacingly.
Her smile slowly died, feeling intimidated by the magnificent blue eyes that stood unwavering.
Ariana clenched her hand on the sword and raised it into a stance before she charged and strike on the head, but Diana dodged effortlessly.
Without warning, Diana gave Ariana a side kick to her stomach, and she knew that was intentional to hurt her. A barrage of attacks came afterward and she barely held on.
Until a strike from the bottom was coming, and the sword she used to block was gone from her as she fell onto the ground.
Ariana looked up agitatedly, and her heart stopped for a moment at the sight of her.
The figure towered over her, standing menacingly with a pair of red eyes gnawing at her soul.
But the harsh thud behind her surprised her more. She turned around to see the sword punctured to the ground just behind her.
It was horrifying to think a few millimeters more, it could puncture through her head.
