Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Are you a fan?

It didn't take long for her to get everything done. She had her schedule noted for the semester, her locker organized, and was ready to go big like always. She always came first in class, The school principal knew of her life situation so she was allowed to work part-time jobs around the school to earn extra pocket money, she was used to that kind of life, sometimes even the students there mistook her for a worker in school instead of a student, but that made life easier, it removed the awkwardness of explaining herself every time. Some recognized her and ignored her, while some used the chance to make fun of her.

"Hmm, I want something easier to do this semester." She thought.

Her options were the library, cafeteria, football ground, and the football club's changing room. Her now perverted mind wanted to try working in the football club's changing room. She would only be cleaning once a week after football games on Friday, though the chances of seeing naked guys were pretty slim she was hoping she would somehow peek at only one specific guy, Luke Hades. Her now growing body had a mind of its own, and it was especially frustrating since she had no one to talk to about these specific subjects. In fact, no one spoke to her at all, she was like an invisible wind. So she went with instinct. Her instincts now told her to choose to clean the football's club changing room.

"I'll let the principal know after classes." She hummed.

The weekdays took a toll on many as lessons became harder also, everyone was aware of the importance of working hard this year since everyone was trying to get to a good college after finishing high school. Friday was an exception since there were only two lessons before breakfast, English and chemistry then, club day for the rest of the day in school.

Ana took violin for the club this year too because she was really good at it and was her perfect escape from the real world. She really loved and enjoyed playing the violin. Too bad during her violin classes, she misses the football matches or practices taking place every Friday. She had been cleaning the changing room for a few weeks now and she never got to meet Luke or any players. She was careful to make sure everyone had left before starting to clean. It was so ridiculous how opposite her heart and mind were sometimes. She still heard of how Luke was good at football. She wished she could see him once even from afar. She was a big fan even when she never saw him actually play.

This Friday was normal as usual. After her violin playing and lessons, she went straight to her locker, and kept her violin there, while she was about to close her locker, she heard people next to her talking;

"Ah, I wonder if Luke is okay?" A girl spoke, "that dude from another school was so annoying, he acted like he was out to get him."

"I know right? He even pushed him on purpose during the match but the referee didn't do anything." Another girl said.

"I never thought I'd ever see Luke lose a match in my high school life," the first girl kept on, "the other guy was cute though, I heard his name is Jake."

"Yeah... but he's not good-looking like luke... I heard people saying they saw Scarlette talking to the guy."

"That bitch isn't she dating Lu-"

Ana slammed her locker and headed for the changing room immediately. She planned to avoid the players today too but she just heard Luke was pushed, she wondered if he was hurt. She reached the changing room but it was silent.

"Am I late?"She wondered. She peeked inside but no one was there. "Maybe it's a good thing, what would I have done even if I found him." She chuckled.

She entered the next small room to the changing room which had cleaning appliances, she took a broom and a mop wore a cleaning apron and tied her hair to a rough bun. She went back to the changing room and started cleaning.

"Who are you?"

She was startled, then gulped, and was excited and nervous at the same time. She recognized the voice. She turned around and stared at the voice's owner. His hair was wet, he looked like he just showered. He was wearing a black t-shirt and black jeans. Up close he was really broad, and tall, and had an intimidating aura. He was holding his football clothes in his hands, and on his feet, he had some flip-flops on. That was cute. She imaginary awwed. Her trace went back to his face, he was so perfect, his eye color was very dark like he could see your very soul, perfect sculpted jawline, his lips were pressed in a straight line, she couldn't define them clearly, his eyebrows lifted slightly and he now looked annoyed.

"Oh," she embarrassedly whispered and looked around her to make sure the question was directed at her.

"I-I a-am Ana." She stuttered. "W-we're from the same class," she added.

Luke now stared at her from top to bottom, which seemed like really long minutes to her, she shifted uncomfortably and a frown appeared on his face, "come back later."

"Huh?" Did Luke just ask to meet her? She wondered.

"Aren't you cleaning? Don't do it now. Come later." He shooed her.

"Oh okay." She bit her bottom lip and contemplated if she should ask how he was doing.

"Do you need something?" He asked, clearly annoyed as to why she was still not gone.

"N-no I" she took in a breath to calm herself down. she wasn't usually like this. She was always confident and now she wasn't proud of herself either. She lifted her chin up and looked straight into his eyes. Whatever she thought she could do, utterly failed, not with those eyes. She glanced away right away.

"I heard about the match, someone pushed you, are you okay?"

"....."

Her lips went dry all of a sudden and she licked them unconsciously, "Hah! Of course, you're okay, you look okay....that's fortunate" she smiled from nervousness and wished she could float away and kill herself somewhere. She was about to leave when he spoke;

"Are you a fan?"
