The skills that were given to him were rather brief and straightforward, what he was rather confused is how to activate these skills. From what he had seen in the videos on the internet, the players could simply activate them on a whim but he still didn't know how to activate them since it didn't show any procedures on the skill.

[A message has been sent to your cabin]

A transparent envelope popped out in front of him and when Alon pressed the envelope, it revealed a short message with a file attached to it.

[Young master, as you have already arrived at your chosen starter town, I couldn't connect to you anymore via voice message so I leave this message to you. If you open the file that I have attached, you can get more detailed information about everything you need to know about the game.

OPEN FILE]

'No wonder his voice suddenly disappeared, it seems I can't connect to the real world once I entered the game.' Alon pressed the file and quickly, a 10-page document appeared showing tips and tricks about the game.

He sat on the cobbled ground as he read the documents. It took him 2 hours to finally finished reading, he had reviewed the document twice to make sure that he could understand everything about it since some words were still foreign to him like CC, AOE, skills, classes, quests, etc.

Standing and removing the window panels on his face, he inhaled the air around him. Just as he remembered, the smell of the trees was quite distinguishable, he started moving his body by doing some acrobats and he was surprised that his movements and capabilities far surpassed his own in the real world, it was like his prowess was increased by three folds.

'I could feel my power surging inside me, I really wanna try it out but first I need to check my map.' Alon opened his window interface and scrolled to the right where he saw another interface that had 60 blocks in a large square, apparently this panel was called a Spatial Inventory, inside the inventory was the starter kit. When Alon opened the kit, what appeared in his Inventory was 10 barley bread, a town map, and a weapon chest. Alon first checked the map and what he needed to do was locate the Awakened Hall where he could accept quests to earn experience and money. But first, he opened the weapon's chest.

The weapon chest showed several melee weapons that were available for him to use as a warrior class awakened.

'Although I know how to use all of these weapons since grandpa taught me, I'm mostly used to using my entire body as a weapon so let's go for Null.'

Ting~

[Null- Unarmed combatant: Significant increase in damage when using the body as a weapon.]

'Now that I'm done, let's check out the Awakened Hall for some quest.' Alon started walking to the awakened hall located in the center of the town. The town was relatively big but despite its size, Alon rarely saw players walking around, the only ones he saw were NPCs minding their business.

'Keith said that Greenville Town was the most desolate starter town because the monsters here are too difficult to handle and the constant PKing made it hard for players to level up.' Alon didn't mind this fact as he wanted to face danger more than anything else, plus he was more suited to doing things alone, the thought of teaming sounded like a hassle for him.

A few minutes passed and Alon arrived at the town center. It was bustling with NPCs and he could also see a few players talking to the NPCs and some were even setting up small stalls to sell their items.

Despite having realistic features, one thing that differentiates NPCs from players was that their level and name tag above their heads had different colors. Players had blue name icons while NPCs had white. Other than that, both looked like normal people.

Alon entered the town hall and only did he see groups of players sitting on tables as they drank alcohol that was being served by an NPC. As soon as Alon went inside, he was immediately bombarded by eyes filled with murderous intent.

"Look, it's another noob trying to make a name for himself."

"Khekeke, he probably misclicked a button and accidentally arrived here."

"Stop it guys, you're scaring the kid."

They didn't even dare to lower their tone, they wanted Alon to hear their threats and curses at him. The majority of them were level 5 while there were some that were level 6-7. Although the level gap was very high, with his attributes alone, it had already put him at level 44, their threats were nothing more but blank statements to him.

He shifted his gaze at them and seeing such cold eyes, everyone suddenly shuddered as the ends of their hair stood up.

His eyes alone gave them goosebumps.

'What the fuck!? Did a level 0 player just scare the shit out of me?' This was what was going on in their mind. They knew that people who could give off such gaze and aura were people who'd seen shit that ordinary people couldn't. But the fact that the person that gave this off was nothing more but a newbie had insulted their pride.

They had a higher level than him, it's only natural that they could easily beat up a newbie, but their guts were telling them that this guy was dangerous.

Gulp.

Alon shift his gaze toward the bulletin board and he could see a lot of pinned quests on the board. He check each one and despite some being high leveled quests that shouldn't be possible for a level 0 to accept, he found the hardest one which not only gave a ton of experience, it would also give him coins.

Coins were the main currency of this world. The lowest currency was the copper coin, one copper coin was equal to buying one barley bread. The next currency was the bronze coin, one bronze coin was equal to 100 copper coins and a single coin was capable of buying a small healing potion. The next currency was the silver coin, one silver coin was equal to 100 bronze coins and a single coin was capable of buying low-tiered equipment. The next currency was a gold coin, one gold coin was equal to 100 silver coins and a single coin was capable of buying high-tiered equipment or intermediate potions. The last and most expensive currency was a platinum coin, one platinum coin was equal to 1000 gold coins, and a single platinum coin was capable of buying a small mansion or buying a high ranking equipment.

[Quest]

Defeat 100 Great Wolves and collect their hide.

Difficulty- D--

Great Wolf hide- 0/100

Rewards- 10 silver, +100,000 EXP

Penalty- None]

Great Wolves spawned in packs of 30 numbers in Greenville Valley. Each wolf ranged from levels 15-20 while Alpha great wolves were in levels 30+. Great Wolves were commonly ranked monsters while Alpha wolves were elite monsters. This difference in ranks makes a monster of a higher rank three times stronger than the monster of its lower rank, even if they had the same level, the gap of each rank would still be wide. The higher the rank of a monster, the stronger and more dangerous it was, other than the increase in firepower, they are also capable of basic thinking and activating skills and spells.

After confirming the quest, Alon checked his map and went to its destination, Greenville valley.

One of the onlookers saw Alon leave and he quickly woke up another player who was currently intoxicated from the alcohol he was drinking. This player was level 10, his face was flush red and from the state he was in, he probably had drunk at least ten bottles of alcohol.

"Boss! An interesting guy has appeared in town. Not only did he make us shiver in fear, but he also accepted a level D-rank quest."

"Huh what? Does a level 0 player dare to accept a D-rank quest? Isn't he just killing himself? What's the fuss about that, if he wants to kill himself, let him be, he's not even worth one copper coin." The level 10 player said as he pour another alcohol into his mouth.

"B-but."

"No 'buts'! If you're interested in the guy, spy on him, record him as he let himself get eaten by the wolves, only if you find something interesting will I try to make a move."

Upon hearing his orders, the subordinate who was level 6 followed Alon quitely.

-----------

When Alon reached the outskirts of the town, he found red players loitering around the walls. As soon as they saw Alon, they quickly withdrew their weapons and started threatening him.

"Hey, noobie! Give us your items and we'll spare you. If you don't we'll make your life a living hell." The red player pointed his dagger at him while Alon stood still, not muttering any word.

"Are you deaf!? I said give me your items!" The red player walked toward Alon pointing his dagger as he released a murderous intent at him.

"Stop it, dude! Look! You're scaring the guy, he just started the game and now he'll be forced to delete it. Hehehe." His other friends chuckled and made fun of Alon who remained silent.

"Don't worry, I'll be kind, as long as you give me your items, I'll kill you once and after that, I won't touch you anymore okay?" The red player said licking his dagger.

"..."

"Still won't talk? You asked for it!" The red player proceed to stab Alon's chest while he revealed a wide grin on his face. The look on his face showed that he was enjoying what he was doing.

Peng!

-1

'Huh?' His face suddenly darkened as his dagger rebounded back from his skin while a sound of a metal clashing echoed on impact. He was confused and in shock, being level 6, he should be able to easily stab through a level 0's chest since their body was compromised of weak tissues yet his dagger had bounced back as if he had just tried to hit steel.

He slowly raise his head and saw the dark gaze of Alon looking down at him and he was suddenly taken in fear of shock.

Crack!

Before he realized it, Alon grabbed hold of his wrist and snapped it. This revealed the bone as blood flowed through it causing him to lose control of his right hand and throw the dagger to the ground.

-46

"Aaahh!!" The red player screamed in pain as he watch his wrist snap open. He tried to retaliate by throwing a punch with his left hand yet Alon caught the fist and also snapped it off revealing another bone that flowed out blood through it.

-47

"Aaaargh!" Yet again he bellowed a scream of pain as tears started pouring out his eyes. His friends were suddenly taken aback at the scene and they realize that their friend was in a dire situation, they quickly went in pursuit to help. Alon on the other hand simply looked at him with his cold eyes, not even showing any expressions.

'This guy should be a good practice target for me to try this skill out.' Alon now learned how to activate a skill, from the skill tab, he simply had to scroll on the left side that would show a video of an avatar performing the skill. The skill would differentiate on what weapon was Alon holding and currently, he was using his bare hands. In the video, the avatar performed a basic cut, this cut could be used at different angles but only one target could affect it. To Alon learning, this skill was a piece of cake as he already mastered doing the cut since it was one of the basic foundations in learning martial arts.

Cut!

-400

[Skill proficiency has reached 105%; the damage has been enhanced by 380%!]

"Graaah!!" He screamed in pain as his left arm had been badly severed. The arm plopped on the ground and his left shoulder was left bleeding as blood sprayed around him.

His friends who wanted to help him halted their steps after seeing his arm fall to the ground. It was such a bloody sight that one of them vomited gunk of food on the ground.

"I'm sorry....please...stop." The red player begged for mercy as he couldn't take the pain anymore. His health had fallen below 10% and with the bleeding effect from the open wounds, it wasn't long before he'd die.

"..." Alon didn't stop while he looked at the red player pathetically. He didn't feel any remorse for what he was doing and the next he did, he ripped off his other arm slowly so he could feel the pain as the muscles and veins holding his arms tore one by one.

"Graaah!!!" The pain was too much. His health had fallen into a critical state, and wasting no more time, he shoved the arm through his gaping mouth, quickly ending his misery and his life.

[You have killed a red player!]

[Level difference: 5, experience gain +100%]

[+800 exp]

[////////// ]

His experience bar quickly rose to 80% and by killing another red player would raise his level by 1. Killing a red player would reward the player and they wouldn't be given any punishment from the system so as soon as the dead body of the red player fell to the ground. Alon dashed through the two dazed players by performing another skill.

Slash!

Slash was just like cut, the execution was almost the same and the only difference was that the skill affects a small area so any target in the area of effect would be damaged.

-6700!

[Critical strike has been inflicted! Doubles the damage]

[Skill proficiency has reached 105%; the damage has been enhanced by 380%]

Each of the red players was level 5 and they had 600 to 700 HP so the damage that Alon did was overkill. Before they could even retaliate, Alon had sliced their bodies in half as the upper half simultaneously fell to the ground where blood and gut started flowing out while the lower torso continued to stand before him. They died before they even knew it.

[Level Up!]

After seeing the series of notifications, Alon had finally reached level 1. Each level-up multiplied the experience needed by two so the experience he needed to reach level 2 was 2000 experience points. Currently, 30% of his exp bar had been filled.

Upon death, the dead bodies of players would disappear after 10 seconds. Alon tried to wipe the blood on his face but after a few seconds, the blood had disappeared from his body, and the corpse of the red players disappeared leaving a couple of items and coins.

Alon picked up the loot on the ground and placed it in his inventory. Although he was given weapons and equipment, he didn't bother wearing them. He was a vicious man but he'd never wear the clothes of his victims, even if he knew that they'd revive, he was better off selling this equipment rather than using them.

He knew that using equipment added benefits to his status but he didn't want to rely on artificial objects, he wanted to push his body to its limits until he could reach the boundaries and break them.

'Let's distribute my points first.'

"Yes." After saying the command, the rune on his hand turned to dust and a window panel appeared in his eyes.

'It seems my luck is good.' Alon couldn't help but smile after reading the skill reward.

[Machine Gun Blows(1)DMG/AOE- Throw numerous punches on a wide area with each dealing 240 physical damage(+40% strength). If a punch can inflict a Critical effect, the duration of the skill is increased by 1 second, and damage is increased by 10% (Stacks up to 20 times).

Duration: 5 seconds

Cooldown: 2 minutes

Mana Cost: 50]

The reward was tier 1, damage, and area of effect skill. The skill's execution was similar to flurry in boxing, except that each punch would leave afterimages making it very hard to dodge, and if he could deal critical damage in rapid succession, the skill's effectivity would increase by two folds. It was the best skill to use against a crowd of monsters but against a 1v1, the skill didn't fair very well since once activated, the skill wouldn't stop until the duration ended and if the player tried to move while the skill was active, it would be too mentally taxing for the body and might result in repercussions.
