Di Tian's heart pounded in his chest as he heard the roar of the male lion, its power reverberating through the air. The injured lionesses, though weakened, rose with newfound determination, their eyes fixated on the young dragon. As they began to encircle him, Di Tian's instincts kicked in, alerting him to the imminent danger.
With a mighty roar, the male lion charged towards Di Tian, closing the distance in a flash. The ground trembled under its powerful strides, and its immense form cast a daunting shadow. Di Tian knew that this would be his greatest challenge yet, and he braced himself for the impending clash.
As the lion lunged, Di Tian's senses kicked into overdrive. He relied on his enhanced agility and quick reflexes to evade the lion's initial assault. However, the lion was relentless, its claws striking with deadly precision. Despite his defensive scales, Di Tian felt the impact of each blow, his body pushed to its limits.
ROAR!!!
The grassland resounded with a symphony of roars as Di Tian unleashed a thunderous roar of defiance. His dragon's bellow echoed through the air, reverberating with power and authority. The lionesses, taken aback by the unexpected display of strength, instinctively retreated, their predatory grace momentarily faltering in the face of the dragon's dominance.
Even the lion, the alpha male and ruler of the pride, faltered for a split second, his eyes widening in surprise and awe. The force behind the dragon's roar was unlike anything he had encountered before, a testament to the might of a True Dragon. The lion's instincts told him that such a roar demanded respect from all creatures of the wild, but this was quickly clouded by the greed to devour the prey in front of him. He had the feeling that he would benefit greatly as long as he devoured Di Tian.
if he were a little stronger, this primal cry alone would have been enough to send these mindless animals fleeing, intimidated by the power he exuded.
This time, Di Tian didn't wait for the lions to make their move. Energy surged through his dragon claws, enveloping and enlarging them simultaneously as he lunged at the male lion.
Roar!
The male lion responded with a low growl as it saw the young dragon charging towards him. Di Tian remained undeterred, his fierce determination propelling him forward.
Roar!!
His dragon claws found their mark on the male lion's formidable frame, eliciting a roar filled with pain. Although the male lion didn't go flying like the lionesses, the strike left its mark, and the creature winced under the attack.
"If one strike isn't enough, then I'll strike you as many times as I need to, as long as I can still move!" Di Tian declared; his resolve unyielding. He continued his assault on the male lion, striking with relentless force, each blow adding to the creature's pain.
Boom!
Before he could deliver another strike, one of the lionesses charged at him head-on, disrupting his attack. The others clawed at his scales, creating sparks, while the remaining two attempted to bite him.
"Damn, these hurts! If you want to save your leader, then taste my dragon claws in his place!" Despite the pain, Di Tian pressed on, his serpentine body coiling around the lioness that tried to bite him, and his claws grasping the one that tackled him.
Knowing he had to end this swiftly, Di Tian ascended into the sky, soaring to a height of ten meters. Then, like an eagle diving for its prey, he descended rapidly towards the earth. Just before impact, he tilted his serpentine body, changing his direction, and released the lionesses.
BOOM!
BOOM!
The two lionesses crashed to the ground with a resounding impact, raising a cloud of dust.

As the dust cleared, the lifeless bodies of the lionesses lay still on the ground. Di Tian's victory was evident.
"Huh, huh, that's the consequence of attacking me," Di Tian grinned, though he couldn't hide the slight panting that revealed the effort behind his bold manoeuvre.
ROAR!!
Before Di Tian could savour his victory over the lionesses, the male lion lunged at him. Being at a lower altitude, the lion's leap successfully pinned him to the ground.

Roars of lion and dragon resounded as Di Tian fiercely clashed with the lion, their claws tearing at each other with relentless force. Amidst the onslaught, crackling sounds filled the air as some of Di Tian's hard dragon scales were forcefully detached from his flesh. The lion too bore the marks of battle, its golden and black fur now dyed red with blood.
"Darn, this guy is too strong!" Di Tian winced in pain, feeling like someone was skinning him alive. But instead of backing down, fury fuelled his actions. "Take a bite of this!" He instinctively activated his "Slash" skill, channelling even more power into his dragon claws.
The claws gleamed with a dangerous light as Di Tian struck at the lion's face with all his might.
ROAARR!!!
A pained and bloodied roar echoed across the grassland. The lion's fierce face now bore a deep claw mark that stretched from its mane to its neck. The once majestic mane was now tainted red, and the creature had lost one of its eyes, its skull bone crushed by the force of the dragon claw infused with Slash.
Di Tian wasted no time and immediately pressed his advantage. Rising swiftly, he coiled his serpentine body tightly around the lion, constricting it with all his might.
CRACK!
CRACK!
ROAR!
The sounds of bones cracking mixed with the lion's desperate roars as the two remaining lionesses launched an attack, trying to free their leader with their fangs and claws, targeting Di Tian's scales.
"Still, have some fight left in you, huh? Then take this!" Di Tian's gaze turned cold as he swept his tail at the lionesses.
The black dragon scales on his tail glimmered dangerously as energy enveloped them completely.
BOOM!
With a furious swipe, the shining black dragon tail struck the two lionesses, breaking every bone in their bodies and sending them flying for tens of meters.

"Now, with all the annoying pests out of the way, I can fully concentrate on you," Di Tian declared, focusing on his last remaining adversary. The male lion had freed itself during the chaos caused by Di Tian's tail attack. The battle was far from over, and both fierce warriors stood, ready to face each other once more.
Both the young dragon and the lion were injured to a certain extent, the lion's injuries were even more fatal as entire body of the creature was blooded, many of the bones in his body including the skull bones were cracking.
Di Tian wasn't in good condition either as his quite a few of his dragon scales were missing, but the most important part was that the previous clashes had taken a massive toll upon his stamina. He had less than one tenth of the total stamina left.
Both parties were injured and battered, yet they still looked at each other with fury, now this wasn't just the battle of strength, but the battle of pride and will.
The lion was crowned king of the animals in the modern age, while the true dragons are ancient mythical beasts, the beasts of the legends. Both have the pride of the kings and will that refuse to bow to their enemy.
The one with greater will and endurance will be victories and the one with weaker will become death corpse paving the way for their enemy with their death.

The roars of dragon and lion resounded as the battle between the young dragon and the lion pack entered its final phase.
