Chapter 6 - Chapter One "Good Morning"

Quickly finishing up his shower, he began breakfast, cracking three eggs, freshly made orange juice, with a few glasses of milk. He stirred the fresh vegetables frying them till golden brown with some ground Italian sausage.

Flipping the three eggs he rolled the pan spreading the eggs just right. Adding his cheese of Fiesta blend, Colby jack, and some Swiss, tipping the other pan he spread the vegetables even on the eggs into the shredded cheeses of his choice. Winter loved her dairy products, her fridge always had a large amount of them.. Placing the shredded potatoes into the vegetable pan he sprinkled some olive oil with a few Italian seasonings, a touch of sea salt, with a pinch of black grinded pepper. Stirring it quickly in a circular fashion he added a little of sweet milk butter. The kitchen bloomed with the smell of a mouth water cooking aroma, excited to eat his dish he maintained his patience drinking a cup of creamed armoretto coffee.

Pulling out the dishes he slipped an omelet on a plate as he began cooking the second omelet. With a plastic cover, he covered the finished omelet, beginning the other one with the same portions as the first omelet.

Stirring up the bacon he had cooked earlier, with the Italian sausage mixing the two meat to finish the meat dish. Hearing a sound of softly padded feet he smiled adjusting his robe, his hair still damp from his shower. He watched Winter pour herself a cup of coffee taking a seat at the table, a smile touched her lips as she reached for a bran muffin. Sport grinned placing her plate in front of her as he finished cooking their breakfast. Taking the second seat, he flashed her a grin of teeth stating,

"I couldn't resist, after looking in your fridge, Winter who always makes sure her fridge is full with variety. Good Morning, the food smells delicious. I knew it would greet your waking eyes."

Winter smiled taking a drink of her coffee with added cream and sugar. Tilting her head slightly to the side with a curious look,

"Sport you always did have a silver tongue, I'm proud of you. I didn't wake up with a smoky kitchen with every window open. What's the special occasion your in a great mood this morning."

He puffed up his chest with a half smile taking a bite of his breakfast omelet. He took a quick drink of orange juice, wiping his mouth politely,

"The special occasion is my successful breakfast dish, what better way to celebrate my excellent cooking other than with a friend who said I was a horrible cook."

Sport got up raising his hands as if he had just done a touch down. Winter cracked up laughing offering a cheers with her coffee cup, tipping it against his. Sport grinned his successful feeling, gave him a sense of being on top of the world at this specific moment. He leaned over the table tapping her nose with his finger he whispered with overconfidence,

"You should have more faith in men, especially me."

Winter gave him a look of surprise taking a bite of her hashbrowns. Holding a poker face emotionless mimicing the sounds of a taste tester, a spark brightened in her gaze.

Sport sat down quickly getting a little nervous, taking a drink of his coffee, not revealing anything. So she's gonna play hardball this morning, he thought to himself. That sparkle in her eyes, normally means put on the armor get ready for battle.

"Well, the hash browns are definitely cooked with olive oil and some flavoring. The omelet on the other hand delicious you most definitely have improved. Knight's disappointment will be very obvious this morning. Now for the meat dish.. "

Winter suppressed her laughter as best as she could holding the poker face, thinking to herself might as well give him, his first sweat this morning. What better way to start a beautiful morning, than with a touch of onery.

Holding her smile back, she remained in control of her facial expressions. Just to let him sweat it out a little bit, his martial arts Master would thank her later. Meaning Sport will do a very efficient workout today, with a little bit of aggression. She always did like giving him something to think about, it helped with his focus on training. His Master would smile aboutit, knowing he had been at Winter's house. Holding back the smile, keeping her laughter from bubbling up. She heard a slight tapping of silverware on a plate, so deep in her playful thoughts. Sport had gotten slightly impatient on her response, apparently he had cooked to impress.

Winter tapped the napkin on the corners of her mouth,

"The meal is a nine, you have learned how to cook. I'm impressed Mr. Sport, though you would have gotten a ten if you had made some chocolate milk."

Sport frowned,

"O' come on Winter you could have given it a ten, I even put fruit on the table. Come on Winter give me some reconsideration!"

Winter cracked up laughing, the laughter reaching her eyes and her lips. She couldn't hold the laughter back any further. She covered her mouth with her hands trying to stop laughing. When Sport got up, feeling something over come him. He grabbed her chin lifting her face to look straight at him. Sliding his thumb across the corner of her lips, he leaned forward,

"You play a very dangerous game, right now Winter. I always make a touch down."

Winter's eyes widened slightly her laughter stopped looking directly into his eyes a half smile lightly turned a corner of her lips, for only but a second. Sport leaned forward as he slowly with silent confidence looked over her face. He let her chin go gently, grabbing the coffee pot, her poured her another glass of coffee. Filling his up, remaining silent he placed the coffee pot back. Sitting down he took a drink of his milk, as he began eating his meal. Winter remained quite adding sugar and cream.

Still processing everything in her mind, as she gave him a side glance. Eating quietly, she thought she should have given him an eight he had forgotten the toast with cream sweet butter. She thought to herself, holding down the laughter once again.
