Huifei's eyes trailed down to both her arms and she sighed. The two men were still glaring at each other.
"Let me go. Both of you instantly!" She snapped and freed herself from their grip.
"What's going on with the two of you?" She scoffed and then she walked to the front.
Zhang Feng sighed and rolled his eyes. Only he knows what he's feeling at this moment. He felt like punching Lingyun at the moment.
Huifei stopped walking and faced the both of them.
"Aren't you guys coming along?"
Both Lingyun and Zhang Feng took their eyes off each other and then walked towards her.
"This place is so rocky. Are you sure you will be safe here, your highness?" Lingyun asked and Huifei sighed again.
"I said I can take care of myself.." She replied and then turned.
"This will be a good road, the rate at which people die cause of road accidents is too high. So I will need your help Zhang Feng. We need good steels supplies from you. I.." She was about to talk when Lingyun's phone suddenly rang.
He excused himself and went to take the call.

He smiled and brought out his phone.
"Have you succeeded in tempering with the brakes of the queen's car.."
"Yes.." The deep voice replied and he smiled and hung up.
"Let's see if you will make it back home today, Qin Huifei.." He smiled and took a sip of wine.

Lingyun sighed and walked back to Huifei.
"I'm sorry your highness, but I have to go to the palace now. It's urgent.."
"What happened?" Huifei asked.
"It's nothing so bad. My presence is just needed there.." He said and Huifei nodded.
He bowed down.
"But if I take the car, how would you be able to get home.."
"I'll just ride with Zhang Feng.." She said.
"Your highness.." A voice called unto her and she turned back.
"Engineer Michael.." She said excitedly and then walked towards him.
"Take care of her, if anything happens to her, I'll kill you.." Lingyun muttered and Feng smiled.
"You don't need to remind me.."
"We won't stay long anyways.." Feng replied him and Lingyun sighed before walking to the car. He got in and drove off while Zhang Feng took his eyes to Huifei who was talking to some engineers there.
He smiled.
"She just acts cold but she's really soft at heart.." He muttered and then walked up towards her.
"Your highness.." He called when he got closer to them.
"We should get ready to go too.." He added and Huifei scoffed.
"I make the rules here. We are not done until I say so..."
"It's noon already, if we stay here any longer, it won't be long before dusk.."
Huifei rolled her eyes immediately.
"Who's he?" One of the engineers asked.
"He's our steel supplier.." Huifei replied.
"I hope he does supply good ones. Can we trust him?"
Huifei took a glance at Zhang Feng who was looking at the man in an odd way.
She was tempted to laugh but she bit her lower lip in order to suppress it.
"I think so. He looks trustworthy, though I don't trust him completely.." Huifei said expecting his reaction soon.
"What? Why don't you trust me?"
Suddenly the wind blew ferociously and Huifei almost stumbled but Zhang Feng was quick to hold her.
"Your highness, we have to go. It's almost dusk.." Zhang Feng said. Huifei nodded and was about to take a step but the wind blew again ferociously and she stumbled and her leg hit a rock.
"Ouch.." She bit her lower lip to suppress the pain.
"Let's go.." Zhang Feng said and held her hands but she immediately retracted it, incase those weird feelings came again.
"I can walk on my own.." She lied even though she was in great pain.
She tried walking but then she almost fell.
"You stubborn brat.." Zhang Feng muttered and her eyes widened.
"What did you just call me?" She snapped at him.
He smiled and moved closer to her and then touched her hair.
"I called you a stubborn brat, so what?" He said and her eyes widened the more.
"I see.." She couldn't complete her statement when he scooped her in his arms, carrying her in a bridal style.
"Hold unto me..' He whispered, staring at her veiled face and she gulped hard.
"I said I.. '
'Nothing you say will make me put you down.." He replied her.
"Wrap your arms around my neck.." He said still staring at her veiled face.
For the first time ever. Huifei accepted defeat and wrapped her hands to him while he balanced her well on his arms, bringing her closer to him.
Her foolish heart betrayed her at that moment and started racing fast as it could.
"Let's go.." He smiled at her and her cheeks turned pink but which of course could not be seen because of her veiled face.
Zhang Feng walked away with her in his arms while the engineers watched in awe.
Meanwhile at a far end, the three fire demons descended and then smiled.
"We found him..' One of them said.
