Chapter 7 - Cautious Revelations,07.

At 7:00 a.m. the next morning, Jacob Evans found himself in the midst of a challenging moment when an unexpected sight caught his attention. Two men stood before him, radiating an aura as if they were favored by the gods—Adam Kadman and Callum Campbell, two Prime Alphas. These individuals were well-known figures, hailed as all-round geniuses, incredibly wealthy, and of noble lineage.

In the world of ABO dynamics, Alpha Omegas (AO) comprised approximately 23% of the population. Prime Alphas and dominant Omegas, on the other hand, were a rarity, constituting only 1.5% of the global population. A Prime Alpha possessed exceptional intelligence and physical prowess, along with pheromones capable of exerting control over others.

In today's society, having an Alpha child is the dream of many families, regardless of the pheromone rating. Alphas are regarded as creatures blessed by the heavens, superior to both Betas and Omegas. Betas are the working class, akin to bees, while Omegas are considered fragile beings of exquisite beauty who emit pheromones similar to Alphas.

An Alpha could claim multiple Omegas, but a marked Omega would lose their freedom, forever bound to the Alpha who marked them. Among the world's ten wealthiest families, five were led by Prime Alphas. Dominant Omegas were a scarce breed, and ordinary Alphas couldn't detect or mark them.

Regarding the compatibility rates, the genetic reports Jacob Evans presented to Adam and Callum showed a staggering 99.99% to 100% match. This revelation left Callum pondering the possibility of such a high level of compatibility occurring naturally, or if it was the result of manipulation. He was aware of his many enemies, and his ambitious nature had fueled disputes in various realms such as business, technology, land, politics, petroleum, and finance within his luxury conglomerate.

Callum contemplated his marriage commitment to Clarice Phillips, a union dictated by a longstanding family treaty. However, with his grandfather no longer able to fulfill his role, Callum was left to face the deception and mediocrity that awaited him. Despite lacking love in his heart, he respected and admired Clarice for the brilliant person she was. Both his mother and grandfather urged him to have children, and although the Philips Business conglomerate held significant prestige, Callum knew he had the power to destroy them.

To maintain a semblance of respect and preserve trade and cooperation agreements, he needed to control the situation. Offending Clarice could not be an option. Recent events had brought Callum closer to Clarice, initially insignificant but eventually demanding his attention.

Determined to assist the Philips family and protect Clarice, even if he didn't marry her, Callum decided it was a reasonable course of action. His thoughts were interrupted by Jacob Evans, who handed him a copy of Aster's medical report.

Aster O'Connor, a 24-year-old dominant omega, was an orphan and an art major. As a co-owner of the Stonehenge Art Gallery, Aster had finished college two years ahead of schedule, achieving high grades while maintaining a low profile. Limited photographic evidence of Aster's existence existed.

Joining the conversation was Dr. Trois Bert, who had been unexpectedly summoned by unknown bodyguards and taken forcibly to a private room in a large hospital. Upon arrival, Dr. Bert was greeted by the presence of the two Prime Alphas he recognized but had never met in person. Jacob Evans introduced Dr. Bert to the situation and provided an explanation of the events that had transpired.

Addressing Jacob's introduction, Dr. Bert confirmed that Aster and Damian were indeed his patients. The impossible had happened, and Dr. Tróis Bert couldn't predict whether the extraordinary change in their lives would benefit Aster and Damián. As orphans, they had arrived at the Sant Claire orphanage at the age of 10 and were officially adopted by the caretaker, Mrs. Eleanor Forrest, when they turned 12. The two had formed a brotherly bond and had thrived despite their challenging backgrounds. They cared deeply for others and actively participated in social work, including teaching art and music to orphaned children.

Dr. Bert explained that Aster and Damián were his first dominant omega patients, highlighting their exceptional intellectual and artistic abilities, as well as their high adaptability. While their emotional interactions were limited, they possessed remarkable talents. In order to control their heat cycles, which could potentially lead to unconsciousness and a permanent state of heat, they had been using unlicensed inhibitors. These inhibitors allowed them to slow down the cycle to once a year, effectively making them appear like ordinary Betas to most Alphas.

However, Dr. Bert didn't hold back his criticism. He argued that due to their indiscriminate use of inhibitors, Aster and Damián shouldn't have been marked by Alphas, as it put their lives at risk. Moreover, the person responsible for marking them had not stayed by their side when they woke up. Dr. Bert questioned the purpose and necessity of waiting for someone who had left them in such a vulnerable state.

Unfazed by the harsh words, Dr. Bert expressed his understanding as to why Aster and Damian's Alpha had left.

Reflecting for a moment, Dr. Bert felt the pressure increase as he faced the two powerful Alphas in front of him, Adam and Callum. He was about to reveal delicate information about his patients, Damian and Aster, and he was aware that any negative reaction from the Alphas could have devastating consequences for his career and the safety of his patients.

With caution, Dr. Bert took a breath before continuing, "Gentlemen, allow me to ponder before proceeding. I fully understand the reluctance to be here at this moment. However, it is important that you also understand..."

The doctor paused again, carefully choosing his words to strike a balance between truth and the need to protect his patients. He knew the situation was complex and that the revelation could trigger unwanted reactions.

"As a physician, I advise a cautious approach," he said sincerely. "I can understand why you wouldn't want to be here. The major reason is evident. However, you also need to understand that..."

In this way, Dr. Bert creates a pause in his words, showing his apprehension and respect in the presence of the two powerful Alphas. He expresses the importance of the situation and the need for a careful approach, while acknowledging the concerns of the Alphas. This approach maintains tension and uncertainty in the scene, highlighting the significance of the revelations to come.
