~Noelle~
It's day one without my husbands and daughter, and I've had to explain to Milo what happened. Or at least what I think happened. He's not taking it well. He locked himself in his room, saying he won't leave until lynx comes to get him. He's a child so I didn't scream, or force him out. Instead I left him his breakfast by the door, and went on with my day. Greta invited me to step out and pick some fruits. She looks a little bit haggard. Maybe her day is as shitty as mine.
"Hey Noelle, how are you holding up?"
I sigh, tossing my hair off the side of my shoulders and heaving just a little bit more oxygen into my lungs. I hooked the basket to my hips, and moved along the forest with her by my side.
"It is horrible. I'm twitchy, and….. and I didn't tell them that I am pregnant."
Greta drops her mouth open like a freaking fly catcher. She nearly walks face first into a tree, she's not exactly paying attention to the path she's taking.
