Did Noelle call me a prick last night?
Shepherd is all giggles as I explained to him the plan to do something sweet for our wife. He's not laughing because of that. It's mostly due to how Noelle reported me to him saying that I made her cry ugly tears with my words, and how I'm still a prick. Only this woman would take something that's supposed to be romantic and turn it into another thing. I'm not even sure what to do with her if I'm being honest. But I love her. And I want to take her mind off this stress.
She's right. The boat isn't safe, it belongs to the society. We should extricate ourselves from it. But finding a small island could also be dangerous. What happens when another rain storm comes and carried a tide into the land. Our whole family could die.
I'm at a cross. Unable to decide on what our next move should be.
