Aesther felt like she had been shackled in chains of brutal cold. Her legs felt numb and weak as we walked outside the room. Her mind was still echoing the words of the maiden.
She absentmindedly pressed her hands over a doorknob, not really knowing the way of this mystical place, but as she pushed the door open, Aesther found herself back in the Tower of Luna.
An erratic sigh left her lips as Aesther leaned against the door.
Few things were clear.
Nesmeria was already losing this unknown battle. Athanasia had obtained soul shards from almost every immortal beast. No one knew about Ahzure.
No one knew about Ezrahl.
"...and it's already very late," Aesther whispered.
The First Sacred Maiden mentioned it like there was nothing to worry about. Her voice was as gentle as ever as she said that up until a while ago, she was still trapped inside her cave.
