The strokes of the array were washed away like sand near a shore, leaving the room in a bleary darkness.
Aesther licked her lips, "Isn't this too dramatic?"
Ezrahl quietly responded, "It was not the spell."

Then all of sudden, a bright light flashed across the room bringing along wild restless winds. Aesther glanced back in shock as the wall tore apart and Noah stepped out of it with a proud grin.
He had used the astral gateway, and though his smile remained so wide.
Noah's skin was entirely white and pale, covered with cold sweat.

"Oh hell, this was a bad idea," Noah grumbled and collapsed on the floor, whining, "I wanted to show off this new algorithm I was working on but it took all my energy!"
